Tax Man Offers Tradesperson Tool Deduction
The Tradesperson Tool Deduction by the Canadian Revenue Agency will allow skilled workers in the trades to deduct the purchase of new tools over $1,000 that were bought after May 1, 2006. These will have to be tools that are bought for a specific use that an employer deems as needed for the worker’s employment.
