I have a 1200lawyer square foot split level. I'm looking to fix kitchen countertops, drawers and cabinets, replace a tub and tile the surround. Install laminate I already have on two staircases and in a hallway. Level and fix a unfinished basement floor and install baseboards on three levels. I'd like to do this at a minimum cost so with mid grade materials. I also need two closet doors hung a bedroom door finished bi fold doors fixed and a banquet remove and hopefully replaced with kitchen cabinets.

Kitchen Touch Ups
Small inner city kitchen (house is 750 sq feet). Needing hood fan install, backsplash tiling, new sink/plumbing/garburator install. New lighting install above kitchen table as well as storm/screen door off kitchen. We are also looking to develop our basement this summer so could all be packaged together if the right person can be found. Back yard patio and walk way
We are looking for quotes to get a patio put into the back yard. The main patio is ~11ft x 12ft and it would carry on into the walk way to the fence which is ~3ft wide x 25 ft long. The yard slopes downward from the rear parking pad towards the house though the last 10-12 ft before the house is reasonably flat. We have a general layout in mind but are always open to suggestions and wisdom from the trenches. We are looking for a company / contractor with a history or portfolio of good designs and even better reference. A detailed quote would be required, so we understand that a visit will be in order, though ball park estimates would be appropriated. If you can break it down by material tpye (i.e. paver style A = $XXXX +/- 25%, paver style B=$YYYY +/- 25% etc) Right now we are only really interested in the back yard but if the price is right we may have the patio continue into a walk way beside the house around to the front.

Large raised patio, steps, sidewalks and building perimeter work in Inglewood
We need some specialty concrete work done at a property in Inglewood. Large patio and steps as well as some perimeter work. Patio and steps will require a rough finish with staining and acid treatment finished to give a natural sandstone look and feel. Secondary Suite
The house was build in 1954. I had a fire inspector in my secondary suite and there are a few things I need to remedy. 1) Install hard-wired interconnected smoke alarms on each floor in each suite. It is recommended that the model installed is a combination smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) detector. Installation shall be according to Alberta Building code 2006. 2) Basement bedrooms windows ( Each window currently has an openable size measurement of 14^ x 22.5" Alberta Building Code 9.7.1.2 Building code 2006.....etc... 3) Install handrail. 4) Fix bathroom ceiling (no part of the fire inspection report, but a leak upstairs made a "hole" in the ceiling. The leak upstairs has been fixed. 5) Install gypsum wallboard not less than one layer of 12.7 mm thick or equivalent material on the ceiling and on each side of the walls, properly finished,. i.e., taped and mudded, it is also expected that all service penetrations (pipes, cables and ducts) are tightly fitted or sealed with an appropriate gypsum board finishing compound. My sink is detached from my granite Counter
My kitchen undermount sink was attached just by silicone...obviously this is not strong enough and now my sink fell through in my kitchen and in 1 washroom and most likely my other washroom sink will need redone as it will eventually fall though.

I have an existing deck and I would like to install a hot tub inside the deck. I would also consider the alternative plan to build a new deck strong enough to support the hot tub. Note that the ground (where this new platform would be) has a low slope. I will go ahead with the easiest alternative whether it is to have the hot tub inside this deck or to build a platform. I would also need an electrician for this project.

Hi there, I would like to request a quote for laminate flooring and tile (small bathroom for tile). General condo renovations
I have an older 800 sq foot condo that needs minor touch-ups before I sell it. Some minor painting, fixing doors, replacing fixtures, potentially some kitchen counters/floor upgrades. Hi, our Lake Bonavista bungalow has almost been completely renovated. All we have left are the stairs, some minor tiling (between the stairs), and some detailing such as putting handles on 9 sliding doors, doing a door frame, installing shelves inside the broom cupboard, fixing a few issues with some floor boards. I've been told I should be looking for a finishing carpenter but I don't see that trade on the web site? Anyone interested?

Put up a Fence and a Deck
Hi, I'm a resident in Calgary, Alberta. Just looking for an online estimates, currently I'm on the planning and budgeting stage. A 2008 single house and my plan is to put up a fence and a deck. Please find the details below. My backyard fence preference is 6ft. height w/ 3 gates, 1 for pedestrian and 2 for garage doors using pressure treated wood. Estimated lot area, more or less is 26ft. wide and 2 x 80ft. deep. I prefer Bastion type of wood fence w/ 4'x4' post. Small mold spot on upstairs bedroom ceiling
We have a small spot of mold on the ceiling in an upstairs bedroom. When we first moved in 4 yrs ago there was a stain at that spot but no mold. At that time I looked into the attic but couldn't see any apparent signs of leakage (not that that means much…) The spot doesn't appear to have grown in size any, but there is now some mold appearing. Bathroom Plumbing to be changed for bath/shower
I am in the need of a plumbers services to change the plumbing of my tub/shower from a spout and tap system on the bath to a spout only on the bath and taps midway up on the wall and then the install of the new bathtub. Replacement of a bathtub
I need a contractor to replace a standard tub in my bathroom. The bathtub is surounded on three sides and is a standard size. the contractor will have to remove one or two rows of 12"X12" tile around the tub to remove the tub. I would also like to change the guts of the taps for the shower (while the tile is off). The contractor is also asked to insert the new tub and re-tile to match the existing tub.
