We have unfinished basement. There is a standard half wall fiber glass insulation, but it seems like previous owner had a mouse infestation in that fiber glass (We have not seen any live mouse or any evidence of it). We would like to renovate our guest bathroom. It is approximately 5ft x 13 ft. We would like to complete this project on a limited budget and are looking for licensed contractors who are able to complete the work themselves in order to contain the cost, by not having to outsource the plumbing and electrical work. We have a tiler who will be responsible for the tiling of the floor and the bathtub surround walls. We will be providing all of the bathroom fixtures (tub, tiles, toilet, faucets etc). The scope of the project is as follows: Demolition: Remove double vanity, toilet, bathtub, bath tub surround tiles, Remove drywall and framed bulkhead above tub area Detach 2 vanity faucets and add shut off valves. Remove linoleum floor Preparation: Tighten down subfloor with screws as needed required for floor tiles - (tiling of floor will be completed by someone else) Repair ceiling over bathtub with moisture resistant drywall where drop ceiling was removed (taped and sanded and prep'd for priming and painting) Repair bathtub surround walls - Install new Denshield backer board as base for new walls - (tiling of bathtub surround wall will be completed by someone else) Create a niche in the bathtub surround wall Installation: Reinstall and connect new ABS drains for double vanity sinks. Hello, I have a 15 year old home that requires a renovation to the Master bathroom. Bathroom is a standard builder grade and outdated. Currently: - Standup shower - Soaker Tub - long vanity with a single sink - toilet - Space is about 10 X10 Noticed a water leak on the main floor ceiling that is most likely coming from the standup shower stall. Looking for a full reno on the bathroom. Like to have: - Standup shower - double sink vanity - standalone TUB (open to ideas) If possible looking to expand the Master walkin closet (to make closet bigger, washroom smaller) as an option depending on costs and timelines. The 2 exterior walls of one bedroom should have better insulation. During the winter is cold and during the summer is hot. There is a 8-9 year old townhouse, the bedroom being on the 2nd level. Carpet install gone wrong
I purchased a carpet at a location that shall remain secret, and the carpet was not cut to size and we had to do it ourselves. I have a contractor who is unable to seam it correctly and, before throwing him and my carpet out the door, waste my money and replace with laminate, I thought I'd try one last alternative here. Basically it's an hour (or 2?) worth of work, but if I can get someone who has the experience and qualifications to do it properly, should be easy and relatively painless. The seam is 17 feet in length. Thank you :)

Kitchen cabinet drawer rollers are broken for two drawers and the 2 shed sliding doors need repairs
1. Two kitchen cabinet drawers are broken. They had the old style roller which is located in the middle of the drawer in the top area. That old plastic roller is broken, the new roller system with 2 rollers ( left and right) must be instaleld for both drawers. 2. My backyard shed sliding doors need adjustments, they don't properly close, some wheels are missing. They are made of a metal sheet (aluminium). Widening driveway
We have a concrete driveway that is designed for 1 car & we have 2, since concrete is too expensive, we thought asphalt to widen driveway would be the best choice, BUT not sure re the cost of it.. I have a very small yard, approximately 14' w x 24' l. I would like to either put a wood deck or patio stones leaving enough space around the perimeter to plant trees and shrubs (3 feet on all three sides) If I choose a wood deck, I would like it to be about 8 inches in height. I The yard is fenced but the only way in is through the walk out basement. I would like this project to be completed before the end of April or at the very least the first week of May. Need the Front of My house redone
I really need my front porch done as the concrete is starting to wear and the wood is starting to rot. I estimate the porch to be about 70 square feet (definitely under 100 sq ft.). I have never been a fan of the railings on the porch as they just get in the way of me removing snow from it during the winter. Very old detached house, about 90 yo. about 21x35 ft when measuring by internal walls. Foundation and the basement are sold. Need to excavate one more area for cellar, about 10x14ft. First floor needs structural adjustments, door frames, some walls and ceiling are croocked. Have a quote from one builder, but another one said that the first floor needs to be completely demolished.
