Manitoba multi family countertops
We are an out of town contractor looking to partner with a local Manitoba countertop contractor for a large multifamily project in MB. We are interested in installers for approx 200 prefabricated 3cm granite kitchens, and approx 30 prefabricated 2cm granite vanity tops; also approx 300 - 3', 4', & 5' 2100 series Belanger laminate vanity tops in washrooms. We have performed 100s of these type of projects and would like to use local help. The kitchens range from approx 45sf to 65sf. We would provide the granite prefabricated with mostly, simple, end cuts, and installation needed. Most are simple straight or "L" shaped kitchens with some "U' shaped. Vanities are standard 2 wall and 3 wall installations. All tops will have 4" back & side splashes. We can provide project supervision or complete installation, but prefer to use local installers. We also have other projects that may be of interest. We can team up with your personnel if preferred. If you have some interest in this project, please provide some pricing for your services, i.e. hourly/daily cost per skilled & semi-skilled installers, & laborers; or per top or SF cost for installation.

Removal & reframing of interior walls
I have a condo unit in a approx 40 yr old building. I am basically wanting to undo structural changes that were done by previous owners. They removed a storage room to make extra room in the bathroom and more room to the master bedroom closet. I would like to close off that part of the bathroom and closet so that it is again a storage room. I would ideally like estimates with and without drywall installation (ie. just framing), and an idea of whether it makes a difference if I remove the existing drywall myself. Repair water damaged ceiling
Our ceilings in both our dining room and kitchen were recently damaged after water seeped in. We have a story and a half in St. James. The house is approximately 50 yrs old. In the kitchen there is a strip about 2 feet long where the water has seeped right through and damaged the finish. In the dining room we have a stippled finish that has fallen away in a strip almost 4 feet long. Stair railing and storage
We have a stair case leading down to our basement in our 1978 home that basically has one wooden rail on one side, the rest of it is open. Most of our house guests feel weary about going down the stairs due to it to its openess. With us preparing to start a family we would like to make it a little safer. I have started building part of a stair railing to enclose it, so that its not completely open, however due to my limited time and experience with wood working, its not turning out how I planned. So we would need someone to either remove or fix what I have done, and build the remainder of the railings. We would like it to be made of wood, and be painted a white color to match the remainder of the trim in the house. There is also room under these stairs where we would like to have a custom storage area added to it withe shelves and doors to enclose the area. Also at our back door there are very high ceilings, we would like to utilize this space and have a storage area built along the ceiling with possibly a ladder that could be pulled down to access the space. We may hold off on the two storage areas mentioned depending on the cost, but we definitely want the stair railings done.

Turn crawlspace into a full basement
Hi I have a small 3 foot by 5 foot crawlspace with a Trap door. It contains the wireing and water tank all the goodies. I was wondering how I can put in, an income suit in the basement. I will need to raise the house and do out the basement. My house is 1100 sq feet and it has an upstairs loft of 200-250 square feet. The rest is main floor and that is how big I would like to make the full basement aproxemently 900 square feet. What do you think about price on this? The house is 100 years old in great condition never had a leak in the basement / crawlspacete. Site conditions would be probably be very good grass and off a side road paved. Maybe a break down on ideas? I have been looking everywhere for ideas and I can't find anything.
