Second level addition to existing property, about 1200 square feet.
Property is located in bedford area of Nova Scotia. It is a split entry house, looking to add second story. We had a designer draw up the plans and an engineer looked at the current structure to approve addition. We will be bringing the plans to the HRM for approving next week. April 10th. We will be able to move out of property during construction. We are looking to hear from contractors who have experience in this area and can bring reference. Deck/back porch
We have an existing deck that is approximately 6 years old. We would like to build a fairly simple roof over the deck to provide some outdoor living space. We live in a 60ish year old bungalow in Bedford. I would really like to have a portion of it turned into an insulated back porch with space for a small 2pc bath and storage, but I can only assume that would be very costly. Our current deck is approx 18 ft x 12ft but I do not want to cover the whole deck, perhaps 12x12 Any suggestions/ideas are welcome!!! Thank you, Mary
