I bought a new home with a partially finished basement with a separate back entrance. The space is an open space approximately 750 sq feet. It is open space with hardwood floors and interior side of the exterior walls are painted with baseboards already in. There is a shelled space and plumbing for bathroom (toilet, sink and shower) and shelled space for kitchen including stove/oven, sink, cupboards, fridge etc. Because it is open space I am consideriing whether to build a one bedroom. I would like to create a different door access to the common room that contains the hotwater tank, furnace, electrical box, and possibly the washer dryer, water pump, etc. It would be great if someone could view the space to give the quote and suggest options to develop the space. Thanks, Runell

Edmonton is the hub for almost all the economic activity that place in the Canadian north. This includes supplying oil field supplies, mining equipment and transportation equipment. At just over 1000,000 people Edmonton is the largest northern city in North America and supports the cream of two professional sports: the Edmonton Oilers in hockey and the Edmonton Eskimos in football.
Having an area larger than Chicago, Edmonton also boasts a large construction and renovation industry. New expansions in the southeast and southwest mean that building homes never slows down in Edmonton. Remodeling is especially an important trade near the river valley where people want to live close to the North Saskatchewan River and its vista of the Edmonton skyline. These older homes are also being outfitted with new windows, doors and other new renovation products for more comfort and fuel savings in the winter.
Although Edmonton winters can be very cold these spells are brief and the spring, summer and fall seasons are long.
