Project Description:
I'm looking for a contractor in the area to help with an out of touch kitchen in need of some updates including painting (they are sollid oak doors so I would like refinished/painted) removal of overhang, New countertops, backsplash & sink, New lighting and a hook up for a gas stove. The house was built in 96 and the cupboards are still in excellent condidtions, solid oak although i feel they are outdated replacing them seems crazy. I would love to find a contractor to put it all into place but someone to paint/refinsh cupboards is what i'm desperate for! Can provide pictures if you need more of an idea.

Hi Dale Brent is absolutely right, you will get more response/exposure from local contractors if you place your ad in the "post your Projects" section. Just as an example and bearing in mind these are Calgary prices they tend to follow the following pattern: Spec Home builder (Cookie cutter) Framing $5.00 - $6.00 Per Sq Ft. Custom Home Framing $8.00 - $12.00 Per Sq Ft. The custom home price various so widely due to the amount of variables that the particular custom home may have including: Tall Wall Framing Vaulted Ceilings Walk Out Basements Curved Walls/Floors Hope these examples give you some idea of what you may face, I am sure up in Grand Prairie you will get a better deal for your money.
