Small Flat Roof

I have a second story deck that measures about 12x20. It has wooden boards down as the flooring - under the flooring is a flat roof that is leaking. We're looking for someone to come and replace this roof. We would like to rip up the existing plywood and replace with new 1/2" tongue and groove pressure treated plywood at a slight slope away from the house. Torch down the roofing material and then reinstall the boards. Material costs should be about $400 ($392 was quoted to us by local roofing supply warehouse) for the roofing materials (two bases, one cap, some caulking) and the plywood should be about $250 - $300 at regular retail rates. We're sure contractors get discounts. I could remove the boards and replace the plywood if it would get me a better rate but we're looking for someone to do it all.

Adding a basement

Currently we have a converted cottage. It's sitting on "blocks" apparently. It appears that there may have been additions added to the house previously. We have outgrown our space but we don't want to leave the house. We would like to have a basement installed and add a room to the main floor layout. Currently our house is a rectangle and we would like to to be an "L". We want to add a bedroom with en-suite bathroom to the main floor and would like to duplicate the bedroom below when the basement is added. We have no idea if this is possible but we've seen others so we're hopeful.
