Beware of this contractor. I paid him almost $15,000 to do a number of renovations at my condo and he did crappy job and worst of all, I paid him in full and he did not come back to finish the work. Examples of the terrible work he did do are: -installed new kitchen counter top and instead of cutting the countertop to fit he cut a hole in the wall and shoved the counter top into it, covered it up with silicone so that I could not tell. He actually didn't even nail down or secure the countertop to the frame it sat on either. Just left it floating like that. Also did not install or even provide the second countertop for the kitchen. -Installed laminate flooring and didn't level floor properly. New Shower and Tub Installation and Copper Pipes
Hello, I'm building a bathroom as a part of my finishing basement project. The house is 5 years old and all the plumbing is done with the plastic pipes. Do I need to make the shower and tub piping using copper pipes and supply them with plastic pipes or can I avoid the copper pipes? Thank you!

Vapor Barrier Between Wall and Concrete Floor
Hello, I'm finishing my basement and installing an interior wall. I used a black plastic as a vapor barrier between the bottom of the wall and the concrete floor. Will the plastic be enough or should I use some other material as the vapor barrier? Thank you.
