We live in a 1500 SQ FT town house in Milton that is around 5 years old that we would like to build a basic deck in our backyard. The area for the deck would be approximately 13FT by 21FT wide. We would like the deck to be flush with the back sliding door so it would be 2 - 2.5 FT off the ground. We would like a basic weather treated wood but nothing expensive. We plan to be in this home for a few more years so we don't necessary want to go all out on this deck, just something to have to enjoy the backyard. How much would it costs for a plumber to convert my single bathroom sink to a double?

First thing you have to consider is if your bathroom has adequate space to accommodate a double vanity. If space permits, the following would need to be done: - Need to determine whether or not the existing cabinets can accommodate a double sink. If not it would need to be removed and replaced with one that can. - Sometimes double vanity cabinets accommodate for a gang trap (both sinks using one p-trap). If this is not the case, then new plumbing would have to be roughed behind the walls. Overall this job would take anywhere between 1-2 days and would cost approximately between $500-1500 (does not include new double vanity), depending on if new rough work needs to be done. And remember, unless your general has a licensed electrician on board, they are not allowed to run any wiring. All renovations with electrical involved require a licensed contractor with the ESA (Electrical Safety Authority). Otherwise, in the event of an electrical fire, your insurance company could refuse coverage.
