Kopp Cabinets - located in Moose Jaw
Review Posted by Shane
I had my kitchen cabinets built and installed by Kopp cabinets a few years ago, and while I'm fairly satisfied with their initial work, their followup has been non-existent. Most of my cabinet doors don't fit together well anymore, and some won't open at all. I have been trying to get them to come and fix this for almost two years now, with no luck. They refuse to answer calls, emails, messages, etc. If you do get in contact with one of them (by using a pay phone or something like that), they tell you they're busy, on vacation, etc., etc.... and assure you they'll be there right away. Like I said, almost two years later, and no one's shown up yet. They'll show up for your inital job, but once you...more

Three issues at hand
Issue #1
My breaker box keeps blowing, a light in the basement sparked and blew the main breaker, lack of plugins and lights in our home. I have a 2 bdrm wartime home with basement, no upper level. There are only 3 lights upstairs in kitchen, hallway and bathroom, rest are downstairs and there are 3 down, only 1 currently working. What am I looking at for fixing the wiring issues as a ballpark figure?
Issue #2
My roof leaks in the back of our home, in one bedroom namely, we did get new shingles approximately 8 years ago, and I do not know where is coming from but roof is now beginning to sag. Cost in a ballpark figure to fix?
Issue #3
None of our walls are insulated in the back of the house, how much would this cost to insulate and dry wall both rooms, they are no bigger than 10X8 each.
Thanks for any info you can give as I am wanting to try to budget this asap... especially the electricity, it scares me with 3 kids in the home.

Repairs to prevent the fire hazards should be under $500. The rest of the place sounds like it should be attended properly by a local licensed electrician, not a cheap DIY guy. These problems need to be checked and repaired before your house catches fire. People think anyone can do electrical, which is false and dangerous. Code rules change every year and as licensed contractors, we have a hard time keeping up sometimes, so those handymen surely aren't doing it all to code. The Latest Reply
Sorry Phillip! You have to vent the bathroom fan on its own legally. The fact that you don't use the kitchen fan has nothing to do with it. Building codes states that it must be vented separate. Sorry to burst your bubble. Brent
