Project Description: We have just purchase our first home, in Jan 2009. It is a small one bedroom, bungalow, on a slab. We are going to obviously have to add rooms in some way unless we sell and move, which I do not want to do! We are contemplating 3 options, building out - building up - or lift the house and put in a finished basement. We want to do it the cheapest way possible but are unsure of where to find the answers. Floor Layout: front of house KITCHEN LIVINGROOM driveway BATHROOM BEDROOM SUNROOM back of house we only own 2 feet of land on the kitchen/bathroom side of the house so a side addition would be coming off the living room/bedroom side meaning we will have to renovate that entire side of the house, if we build up or put in a finished basement, the living room and bedroom will become one large living room with stairs to the additional floor.. Any input would be appreciated, we are new to home owning and aren't sure of who to contact for this information.
