I am moving into a new home and need to have a straight flight of stairs moved to a different location in my home. I believe the present stairs may fit into this new location. The space the stairs need to be moved to is an empty room 9' x 11'. The stairs should run along the 9' wall with a door at the top opening from a 5' wide back hallway. This way the back hall is the upper landing leaving the 9' for the stairs. With a turn at the bottom from another landing with one step down to the cement floor. Some joists which are running across the stairs will have to be cut out for head room. The present horizontal headroom for the stairs is 7'4". The house is approximately 35 years old. I will need the stairs moved in the next 2 weeks as new floors need to be laid down once stairs are removed from present location. Movers will be arriving by the 20th of this month and will need stairs to the basement.
