Roger renovated our entire kitchen ( from the ground up) as well as the front and side hall. His quote was fair and honest. He took care of alot of the details for us and also had some great ideas to help make the kitchen look and function even better. I highly recomend Roger Lockie for any reno/remodel/handyman job. I will definetely use Roger again for any of our upcoming projects.

Having had mostly bad experiences with renovation work it was a pleasure to work with a professional. Roger understood our requirements without any long involved explanations. The work was done to perfection and we were particularly happy with his "no short cuts" or cover ups. When you rip out a bathroom to the bare walls sometimes you uncover things that could not be forseen and with this regard his up charges were very minor and very fair. I would not hesitate to recommend him to any friends or family. E. Lewis Toronto.

Stucco ceiling
Need to replace and re stucco a piece of our ceiling due to water damage.
What is the best/cheapest product and tips as to how to stucco
Thanks

Hi Angie, Assuming the ceiling is "stipple" on drywall, the best way to tackle your repair is to replace the drywall and mud seams flat. Then scrape of stipple at least 12" around the repair area by wetting and using a 6" putty knife. Once dry spray with a Kilz stain blocker alkyd then have the texture re-sprayed to match. Hi Angie, We can't see what you are seeing so have no way of giving you an answer. Posting some pictures may help but the best bet may be to put your requirements in the "post your project" section so you can get some local contractors to have a look and offer some solutions. This would also apply to your other post "stucco ceilings". In general, replacing the drywall is fairly simple but you may find other damage from the leak that should be addressed before you cover it all back up again. Matching an existing stucco is extremely difficult and you may find that scraping the rest off and going with a smooth ceiling is actually the easiest. The other alternative would be to replace the drywall in the affected area and stucco the entire ceiling. Both are pretty messy procedures. Good Luck with it! Jim Kuzma Kettleby Handyman Services
