Project Description: Hi, This Project of mine is driving me a little Cucku, so pls stay with me. I would like to install a Bathroom Fan on the second floor duplex, the proplem is the roof is flat, so no space, only between Rafters. The bathroom has a window, closed, with a skyligt shaft, 3 feet by 5 feet, going from roof down to 1st floor. The top of the Skylight has a cap which has an opening for air. Now feeding the exhaust tube in to the shaft would be easy, only about 3-4 feet from the centre of the bathroom, or straight through the roof. This is where I have the proplem, because I am not a roofer and I dont want problems later. What would you suggest maby someone, a Contracter that could do this. I am in St-Leonard, Montreal. Thanks

Dilatech worked on two projects. One was the renovation of the third floor bathroom including the replacement of a moulded shower stall 36" by 36" with a tiled shower stall 36" by 48". Alex was extremely knowledgeable about how to execute the project according to building code and about the products and materials used for the renovation. Although not part of my original plan, Alex suggested replacing the bathroom fan with a more powerful and silent unit to ensure maximum ventilation, and replacing the fan switch with a timer switch for convenience and energy conservation. Pyrite in Basement Appartment
Because of severe heaving and cracking of basement foundation, I tested for pyrite which results were positive. Wondering if anyone has advice on the best way to find a contractor or if anyone can recommend one. Also if anyone has advice on how much i'm looking at in terms of cost for about 1100sq ft. thx

I am sorry but I get a chuckle when a contractor with a logo say's construction on it doesn't know what pyrite is. Not to say bad things but Are you trying to hurt your business or what! If anybody should know what this stuff is it should be a construction guy! I am a renovation's guy and we do do Quality work but I am sorry we don't do that type of work I just wanted to laugh.
