Replaced fences and gates, constructed gate, arbor, shed/playhouse, large garden box and paver walk, replaced porch stairs, renovated inside stairs, provided clothesline pole and risers. For shed/playhouse, used recycled fencing material wherever appropriate.

We hired IS Contracting after finding them on this site. We were very pleased with their diligent and timely completion of our jobs. Will certainly be using them in the future for more home repair and renovation projects. The shed/playhouse combo was their idea, mainly constructed with our recycled fencing materials. They went the extra distance to give us quality work with attention to detail, and were able to keep costs within our budget. They are good communicators, and have the expertise in many different areas to suggest a better solution if one exists. Finished work looks beautiful. Highly recommended.

I hired IS Contracting to build two new decks. The first deck was was a new addition to a dormer and was suspended over our front entrance. It was approximately 100 SF. The second deck was a replacement project for an original deck in the rear of the house and was approximately 200 SF.

As my home is over 70 years old, both projects encountered unique situations and technical hurdles that IS Contracting was able to sort out in short order.

The scope of the work ranged from footing and foundation work, to framing, to flashing, to window and door installation, and ulitmately to finishing.

The project was on time and on budget, and the quality of his work exceeded my already high expectations. Finally, the contractor worked well with the other trades performing other renovations on the site which in my opinion is a testament to the fact he gets along well with others.

I would recommend IS Contracting for similar work without hesitation.
