What impressed me the most about ProFinish was the level of detail provided in the initial quotation. Joe took the time to make sure we clearly and completely communicated our agreed home renovation requirements and understood the costs, scheduling and logistics associated with the renovation activities.

Profinish does everything "by the book"- contractual arrangements take place BEFORE work begins and clearly state the amount and timing of progress payments. Care is taken to ensure that the finished product meet provincial and municipal building codes/requirements . Contract staff are trusted, bonded and insured. The work team removed all their construction debris on a timely basis and ensured that our home was kept safe and tidy in our absence.

Even though the project took longer to complete than expected, the end-product was amazing. ALL of our visitors and guests were "blown away" by the high quality of the end-product. Its like they never saw anything as upscale and functional as ours. The cost of the job reflected the high-end nature of the selected materials, but it was well worth the price (the real estate value of our home has risen to reflect the upgrade- we didn't lose a dime on the investment).

I would strongly recommend Joe Scrocco and his team to anyone who is interested in upgrading their kitchen, basement or other parts of their residence. They know what it takes to turn an ordinary house into a "luxury home".

Profinish Contracting was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Joe took the time to come out and visit/take a look at my basement and provided good recommendations with the project. He was very thorough during the consultation stage. He took the time to explain things, discussed city codes etc. He's also very creative and gave me ideas which I never even thought of/imagined. I compared Joe to other contractors and their quotes and finally decided to give Profinish the job as I found Joe to be the most knowledgeable, competitive in price, spoke with integrity and was very personable. Joe constantly kept me up to date on how things were progressing, communicated unforeseen costs so that I had time to consider other options and delived on what he said he would. The timeline for the project reasonable and remained on schedule. He also cleaned up after himself each day. Thanks Joe. I really appreciate your hard work and making living through the renovation almost stress free. I'm enjoying my new basement finally!
