I dealt with the owner of DynaPro Painting, Mr Philip McRae, for the quotation and payment for work completed.
All correspondence prior to job start was very prompt, professional, and made me feel very comfortable working with them.
The job (painting a 3000sqft house) ran 4 days beyond the contracted end date. The workers often only started work in the afternoon and worked till late at night.
I had paint damage to floors, door knobs, carpeting, and a leather chair. His workers broke my screen door (was replaced) and a bathroom mirror (not replaced).
I made final payment upon the final day of work, with the agreement that final touch-ups and delivery of the extra paint (both agreed upon in the original contract, and verbally agreed to by the owner and myself) would be completed within a week or so.
I have not heard from Mr McRae since, despite hundreds of calls to both his work and cell numbers, and many emails. The few times that I have reached him on the phone, he has given me assurances that he plans to fulfil his contract and provide me the paint, but he has not managed to deliver it to me, or simply arrange for me to pick it up from him or the paint store.
The mailing address on his contract, and the addresses that can be found online for his business are not his current address. The phone number listed on this HandyCanadian.com website for DynaPro painting, is not the correct address either.
At this point (Nov 2011), it has been 4.5 months that I have been working to get the extra paint from DynaPro painting. If I ever get resolution from this issue with DynaPro Painting, I will post another comment to this forum. If I do not, you can assume that they are still being delinquent in fulfilling their contractual obligations.
I would not recommend using this company for painting contracts.
Thank you.
