We hired Peter Steele to replace two bathroom cabinets in our home. Peter was an absolute gentleman to deal with and we would hire Peter again for any future work we might have done. We are very pleased with our new cabinets that Peter installed. The one cabinet that we bought from Durham Kitchen and Bath in Whitby had a problem with one of it's drawers. Peter offered to come back to install the drawer when we got it replaced from Durham Kitchen and Bath. Peter came by to see how we made out with the store. He also offered to come back and do some caulking work that could not be done the day of installation because we had wallpaper that had to be removed. A couple days after the cabinets were installed, the one pipe under the cabinet had a small leak. Peter was over that very afternoon that we contacted him to repair the leak.

Peter is a very personable man and it was a pleasure to have him doing work in our home!

We just completed a kitchen update and found Peter Steele Home Improvement through this website. We hired Peter to build a cabinet to house our built in Wall oven and gas cooktop (with all electrical work), hook up a waterline to our fridge and install a backsplash and range hood.

Peter was wonderful to deal with (even got back to us when he was away on Vacation) and didn't hesitate to offer up advice on some of the other projects that we were working on.

The problem was unfilled core holes in the foundation which I fixed myself but was left with a complete mess of the rec room wall in a house that I just moved into 6 months ago. Peter was here within an hour after I sent him the e-mail with my dilemma and gave me a quote within a day or two to put my room back in livable condition. He brought in his experts and reconstructed the wall including insulation, vapor barrier and a superb drywall refit and and finish that I was able to prime and paint and within a week, my rec room was back to better than I moved into. I would recommend Peter Steele Improvements to anyone. Peter was more than helpful, courteous and willing to solve my problems at a moment's notice. His laborers were skilled, clean and efficent.

Peter installed an IKEA kitchen for us (Nov.23 - Dec 9/09). We found Peter to be responsive to our ideas and adaptable. His estimates were fair and accurate and he was finished the project only one day over the time estimate. We live in a condo so it was important that we have a contractor who could deal well with the building management. His manner was friendly and businesslike so everything went smoothly. We enjoyed dealing with him.
