I had a bathroom reno go horrible wrong by using this company. Time line was months past the date. Contractor never produced tickets or licences, was charge without opperating without one by the City of Calgary. Does not stand behind the work completed, which is still not completed and I was invoices more than the quote. Lien was put on our house, threatened with court action, which I am welcoming as this would save me the cost. BBB if you check they have 2 unresolved cases, Service Alberta is investigating under the fair trade act as he takes money without the proper licences. Left Mess and old material in my basement. Ordered way more paint than needed so I paid for 6 gallons and still have 3 or four that I will probably never use. Just a horrible experience over all. If you would like more info contact me at mylawyer1@live.com as there's more info but I do not want it on here as it is for court. Contact me and I can fill you in. As well as the AFCA has recommended that the floor that was installed be ripped out and redone as it is out of level way out and waer runs down hill as we all know. This was a cost of 300 more for me to get them out. Do you home work with Service Alberta as this I hopwe will help you choose the right contractor. Once again I would not recommend this company.

October of 2009 we had a contractor renovate our bathroom within 6 months the grout and tiles were discolouring from water damage. The original contractor refused to come back and fix the problem (he said since we bought the tile and grout he was not responsible) so I posted on HandyCanadian.com. Dusty at Exquisite Innovations came by and said he could repair the problem. He ripped out the entire wall surrounding the bathtub replaced the wall board, tiles and regrouted. This was completed in May 2010 and he gave me a written 2 year warranty.
Mid-October we noticed that the grout and tiles were starting to discolour again. He didn't fix the underlying problem, he just covered it up.
I have been trying to contact him since that time via e-mail, telephone and through the web site. Absolutely no response. His warranty has no value and he doesn't stand behind his work.

Do not use, I have had nothing but problems. Water runs out of bathroom and into the basement, grout is already moulding, changing colors. Tiles are not level. Horrible, now there is a lien on my house and a bathroom that was worse then before. Do not use, I repeat do not use. Do you homework, please do your home work. Do not pay anything up front and don't expect it to be completed quick...3+months for a small bathroom, 2-3 weeks is what I was told. Ya right. I think the contractor is just a little upset, that he was just charged and fined for operating without a City business license, which I had requested. Response Not sure what you are talking about? Attention customers of this company do not use. The issues I stated are the least of my problems. Work is poor, and you would not want them anywhere near your house, unless they are doing a job for A-1 pooper scooper. It is going to cost me almost double to fix the work that has been done. Make sure you ask for all licenses and tickets as this was the worst desicion I have ever made. Mould already. Once again do your homework, do not use. Contact me at snowquad@telusplanet.net for further information or to join the cause. cOME ON PEOPLE i KNOW THERE ARE MORE OF YOU OUT THERE PLEASE CONTACT ME AT snowquad@telusplanet.net or mylawyer1@live.com and the message will be passed off to me. HOLLY PLEASE CONTACYT ME at the E-mails provided I have some info to help you and me. Also I am sure Mr. Hankewhich is angry as he has been charged with opperating without a City Bussiness license so anyone that has had work done befor eanytime bfore April please contact me. Everyone who has had a problem contact me, please and thanks you. Oh and know I sit i a puddle of water as his great plumbing work in my upstairs bathroom just failed, I don't remember asking for this or even being informed that he did this. Thanks. HOLLY CONTACT ME.
Exquisite Innovations Design Contracting added comments:
I have no idea what this comment is based on, I can only surmise that he received the AFCA report and is unhappy again.
Aside from the knowledge that this client has sealed grout himself, after the installation over a waterproof membrane and advised not to... I imagine that would be half of the problem... I can only say I would report more after an inspection of what's going on exactly.
I find it increasingly funny, and odd, that a customer who seems to have found so much inevitably wrong with the work accomplished on his house... despite having existing structural, workmanship and other problems prevailent, (which the client refuses to aknowledge were there to begin with). I have pictures, and video footage of these issues and the meeting with the client going over them.
That being said, if there was so much wrong with the work that was done, and it's going to cost so much to fix it... (a cost which he never incurred in the first place, as he only paid less than half of his bill! Stalling the progress of the work and delaying production...yet another complaint of the clients, explained by his own actions). I have yet to be shown a bill, an inspection sheet, any form of documentation proving so... nor has he tried to make contact with me to "cover the expense" on any of these issues.
The only thing I have is the clients "word", as provided through complaints filed against my advertizment on this site.
The client also filed a complaint with the BBB, where he was offered to settle any deficiencies, and to repair any outstanding issues, he summarily refused the offer...the BBB closed his complaint and gave me a positive rating based on my response and offer to fix any problems remaining.
I can only surmise then, that the client has no interest in having the work completed, and is looking to skip out on the bill seeing as he refused to pay the contracted schedule, and demanded I foot the bill for his supplies. Then switched the locks on his house the last day of work, after he was personally served an invoice.
I do seem to recall him personally chastising me for billing him as estimated, and "where's the f*cking discount?" as he seemed to think he was entitled, but was never discussed.
