Hired this company to build a 14 ft by 20 ft garage . The project started June 1 , 2010 and was to be completed in four weeks . It is now Sept 17, 2010 and the garage is still not done . Electrical is still not hooked up , Half the insulation was done , they did not insulate the roof . Breezway was supposed to be covered in and have its own roof . they were paid to put in a 4 ft below frost line foundation and did not . This company cut corners in many ways . I feel that it is my obligation to let people no that this company is not trust worthy . They Build it rite Also did not pay one sub contractor . They asked for 1ooo.oo of my last payment four weeks ago to pay the next subcontractor . People please be carefull when dealing with this company. In response to build it rite response i have to say that they are way off we havea contract stating what is to be included and as for them saying that the bylaws did not permit an enclosed breezway may be true but we were charged for it and were not told that it could not be done . we were also not spoken to about the 4ft below frost line not being done .I actually questioned Peter about the cost difference for the foundation and he said he would adjust it , the cotract confirms what we paid for and what was not done correctly . As for myself and my husband not talking beleive me we disscussed everything . When ever we paid an instalment cheque thats when the work would stop . What is the explanation for no windows in the garage ? This man from Build it Rite did not pay one contractor 480.00 and the second laborer he hired we had to pay from our 10% holdback . Peter the man from build it rite thanked us for paying him but the reason I did was because I feared he would not pay him either . We were expecting only what we payed for which is in our contract , it can not be any clearer than that , I have over 60 emails from Peter about this project and beleive me he is being very disshonest . If there were problems with were the garage was to sit it was because Peter did not listen yes my husband is in a wheelchair and it was obviouse that at the end of the rape he has to have turning room . Even with all the rain in June from July to sept 20 is still almost 11 weeks and Peter said it would be done in 4 weeks . So to all goodluck and I hope this helps some unsuspecting furture customers
