G & R Kelly Enterprises Limited was incorporated in 1969 and has been providing quality service since that time to Halifax Regional Municipality, Halifax Regional Water Commission, Halifax Regional School Board, Bell Aliant and Nova Scotia Power as well as a large number of private companies, institutions and individuals.

Since its conception G & R Kelly has grown and continues to grow both in equipment & technology. We are currently working towards expanding our range of expertise, client base and service area.

Our company provides 24 hour, seven day a week emergency assistance to its customers, and remains with them until the situation has been resolved.

We regularly employ 25 - 30 qualified people year round with the majority of our staff being long-term employees. Our staff receives all necessary training and Personal Protective Equipment as required by the NSCSA, as well as any specialty training and equipment deemed necessary for different work sites.

At the present time G & R Kelly owns 7 JD310 Backhoes, 2 JD710 Backhoes with attachable breakers, and a JD120 Excavator with Breaker attachment, a JD80 Excavator, a JD35 Excavator, and a JD27 Excavator. Our trucking fleet includes 8 Tandem Dump Trucks, 3 Single Axle Dump Trucks as well as numerous 4 x 4 service trucks, trailers, floats and bobcats with attachable breakers. Equipment is purchased on a regular basis to replace older equipment, as well as to stay current with the changing needs of our customers.

G & R Kelly is located at 738 Hammonds Plains Road, Bedford, Nova Scotia where it has been a contributing part of the community for over 40 years.
