I first met Jane and Dennis through this website when we were renovating an apartment condo. We needed help to remove the old and replace the kitchen backsplash. It was a small job but Dennis and Jane still gave it the attention that we needed. They gave a fair price and completed the job as promised. They were always on time (even though I was sometimes late!) , courteous at all times and very honorable. I could tell that they both take pride in their work. I would not hesitate to recommend them (I already have before writing this review) to anyone that I know. I hope that I can again work with them in the future. It would be an honour for me. Thanks so much Jane, Dennis and crew!!

I first came into contact with Emerald Drywall by way of this site, in looking for someone to re-drywall our basement. We had really ruined what was already there while removing some old wallpaper, that turned out to be a nightmare.

I got into touch with Jane and Dennis of Emerald Drywall, who were immediately able to come out to the house. It was a small job as acknowledged but they assured me they would easily be able to mud over the mess we had made. In conversation, we also got to talking about a troublesome shower installation in our upstairs bathroom from some careless previous owners.

Upon agreeing to also inspect, Jane and Dennis were able to confirm my worst fear; severe mold buildup behind the tiles, topped off by a lack of the proper materials and a hideous grouting job to boot. Jane and Dennis were able to give a very reasonable quote within a few days and were extremely accommodating in when they could start their work.

Being that this was our only shower in the house, Jane and Dennis readily agreed to start and finish the job, while my wife and I were away on vacation. We came back to a lovely surprise.

Not only was the work completed beautifully and on time, but it's very important to note all of the extras they threw in for us, beyond what our contract entailed. Not only did they rip up, replace, and dispose of all materials. They exceeded our expectations, by doing two extra toilet installations, giving advice on a few other house problems, and Dennis was even so kind as to fix our front door and trim around it, simply because he felt it needed to be done. (which it did)

They were polite, courteous, conversational, pleasant, helpful and I'm not afraid to say that I would recommend Emerald Drywall to my friends, clients and family.

Thank you, Jane and Dennis for helping us in so many ways, and for doing it so that we could afford it, in a timely convenient manner and with such attention to quality and detail. We have been enjoying our new basement and bathroom ever since and we will remember you both very fondly, not only for your great work but for what pleasant individuals you both were to deal with.

In a crazy market, where everyone was just after taking as much money out of it as they could, Emerald Drywall was more then fair on their pricing. They did a small ceiling repair in a new house that everyone else said could not be done without huge expense. They took the challenge and exceeded expectations. They got the job done quickly. Everyone nowadays claims to operate with honesty and integrity and it is not the case; for Emerald Drywall they all work with these values in tact. I will use Jane and Dennis in the future and will continue to refer them to anyone I know who needs somebody who can get the job done. It was a absolute pleasure dealing with them.

Emerald Drywall was excellent. Its one of the few companies left that are willing to do small projects without being charged an excessive amount (no money was due until materials were on site and final payments were not made until I was satisfied with a COMPLETE project). They were professional, upfront, honest, on time and worked with integrity. My wife and I are very pleased with the quality of work that was put into our project and appreciated the pride each person had in their profession. The company is a family run business and it was nice to meet the people you would be dealing with on site and off. No subcontractors were used, just the owners and family members who are licensed and have over 25 years experience. Thanks again Denis and Jane for a job well done!!

Jane and Dennis really rescued us from a horrid experience with another contractor. They were two days ahead of schedule on our first job of insulating and Vapour barrier 5 walls, drywall 9 walls, painting all the rooms, skim coating ceilings and then knock down texture. The work was good. They were really friendly and straightforward. They stuck to the budget.

Our second phase of bathroom gut and reno was above our expectations.
We came home from a vacation to a fantastic new bathroom. They took pictures so we could see the work. They found the perfect flooring for the bathroom. The tile job is awesome considering the age of our condo and the fact that no wall is anywhere near straight.

The final phase that we have hired them for is all the finishing work: doors, trim, window casings. What a shock to come home to such an awesome upstairs. It is just so perfect. It was waay beyond our vision. We look forward to the main floor being finished.

Dealing with them has far surpassed our expectations.

We feel very confident in recommending them, our only regret is that we didn't find them at the very start of our project in February.

Denis, Michael, Norma and Jane were absolutely top-notch in every aspect of our dealings with them. They showed up when they said they would, they stuck to their budget, they did fantastic, quality work, they were extremely easy to get along with and were responsive to our every need and request. We would, without hesitation, use them again for our future jobs!!

Upon posting project had several replies only Emerald came to do estimate and in doing so will use them for future bathroom reno (a very complex one as well)

They were very friendly and professional showed portfolio and were flexible to our schedule.

Will give more feedback upon completion.
