This was the second time my wife and I have had an outside contractor do major renovation work inside our house. Ted's professionalism was evident from the very outset, when he responded to our request on this website. Throughout the job, he continuously displayed a sense of dedication, attention to detail and thoroughness that was exemplified by the finished product. My wife and I are thrilled at how our new, renovated laundry room looks. This renovation was a significant financial investment for us, and we now know how well spent our money was. If you are in the Durham (or east GTA region) and are looking to have work done on your house, we strongly recommend looking Ted up. We are very happy to give him a glowing reference.

We give "Renovations by Overmeyer" a 5+ star rating! We hired Ted's company to do quite an extensive job in our basement. Can't say enough about the quality of workmanship and Ted's professionalism. The lines of communication were always open, he and his staff put in a full day's work...every day of the contract, and the job was finished on time. In fact, we ordered a special order door that was delayed, and a few weeks later when the door came in, as promised he came back to do the installation. I'm so happy that we found a local contractor that we can call upon when we have another home project!

I hired Ted to install laminate in my basement and retile the laundry room and he did an outstanding job in both areas. He was always friendly and professional. I will not hesitate to use Ted Overmeyer Renovations again for my next home renovation project.

Ted was an outstanding contractor who shares the same view on using quality building materials when doing a job. Both the bathroom tiling and laminate floor in my basement were outstanding. Ted made a recommendation on using tile for the baseboards and this was a change in the plan that made the bathroom project a big success. I have worked with many contractors in the past including complete bathroom renovations, complete basement renovation, hardwood installation, painting and a heritage cabin installation. I can say without hesitation that Ted is in the top echelon of contractors you can trust. His work is ecellent and I highly recommend his services.

Ted has done various jobs for me, changing light fixtures, faucets, replacing kitchen counter and sink, retile of bathroom tile, and installing hardwood flooring. He does excellent work, I would recommend him with confidence to anyone.
