Masonry Contractor in Hamilton, ON

I hired EJ Masonry to fix our chimney and some brick that was broken on the exterior of the house, along with some waterproofing. I had read the complaint about EJ Masonry and was a little skeptical, but hired them anyways. I paid in full and gave a deadline of when the work had to be done as we were looking to sell the house as we were sick and tired of our basement getting wet. Eddie came in the first day bright and early with coffee for all his guys ripped down our chimney and rebuilt it to code he also repaired all the breaking brick on the outside of the house and had it completed in one day!! Which made my wife very happy as she doesn't like a mess, we are very thankful that eddies crew cleaned the job site up and even offered to throw some of my garbage out as he had to do a dump run. The next day Eddie started on the waterproofing as we were concerned with the upcoming rain he was once again early and smiling. This took a few days but he finished one day early and our basement never seen water, thank god. We are no longer selling our house as we have lived here many years and were sick and tired of water finding its way into the basement. We are unbelievably happy with the work completed by EJ Masonry and we think 5 Stars isn't enough to prove how happy we are. Thank you Eddie for your awesome job

I don't usually write reviews but my husband was ecstatic with work Eddie has provided. Our back deck will be in great use this upcoming spring and summer for our family get togethers. They had to parge the exterior of the house and remove all loose debris and it looks awesome. Our son is moving soon and Eddie will be the man we contact. Thank you Eddie job well done!

I was referred by a friend to hire EJ Masonry to do my front stairs, pillars and chimney. I am very happy with the entire job that Eddie and his crew have provided. My stairs were all breaking, cracked and unsafe, Eddie and his crew finshed before the deadline and under budget. I will be referring EJ Masonry & Reno's to friends and family in the future.

I hired EJ Masonry to build a fence on my property. The job was to be done by Kyle McNaughton whose business card shows him as Project Manager for EJ Masonry. Before the job was fully completed they requested that I give them most of the payment for the fence completion as they needed funds to pay the workers. I foolish complied. They continued for some time to give me numerous excuses and text messages telling me they would be arriving soon to complete the job but never did. They kept the money but did not complete the job. Eddie Hobbs head of EJ Masonry does not reply to my phone voice mails or my text messages to him. I would suggest that if you hire EJ Masonry do not front them any monies. If they want up front money for materials I would suggest you have them get the materials themselves and then reimburse them. For labour I would not pay until work is completed.
