General Contractor in Mississauga, ON

We contacted Steve about removing four interior walls in our house, including two structural walls. Steve made an appointment at our earliest convenience to scope out the job, and explained very clearly what needed to be done. He arranged for a structural engineer to prepare drawings and inspect the work. Prior to this, a different contractor had visited twice, but couldn't explain clearly what needed to be done and couldn't arrange for a structural engineer. Steve and his team worked quickly and efficiently to remove the walls, move electical outlets and install the necessary support beams and pillars. The job was finished within a couple of weeks after contacting Steve and for a very reasonable price. We fully recommend Steve and his team.

After screening several prospected contractors i decided to employ Steve from OMC Contracting. Having previous construction experience,I was very confident Steve knew what he was talking about,this was important since the job entailed 2 supporting walls being removed. I found his estimate reasonable (another company wanted twice as much and preferred wood supports to the steel supports i wanted).The job took about a week,and all supported trades came and went quickly (dry wall,carpenters and two electricians).I honestly found them all to be proficent, clean and friendly. At one point i wanted to change a stud placement after the dry wall was taped.they did it right away and didn't charge me for it. I never had trouble getting in contact with Steve and always got a quick reply to any concerns. I extremely happy with the finished product and have booked OMC for the Kitchen installation.
