Tom from Goodfellow handyman was by far the best contractor that I've done business with. He was very clean and made sure that the area he was working on was tidy before leaving for the day. His work was done at a very high calibre and I would put him in the ranks of the elite when it comes to flooring, painting etc. He's a one man show and gets the job done on time. He's a pleasure to do business with and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to do renovations on their home.

My husband an I found Tom through an Internet search on Google and from the initial phone conversation, we were very impressed with him. He had asked us to email him a list of what we were asking him to accomplish and he got back to us right away with a time frame and his hourly rate. The list you send him is not only his check list, but it's also a list for him to stop by the hardware store and come to your home prepared to do the work. He's very personable, a hard worker and if there is a job he can't do, he is more then willing to offer who can do the job... that means a lot! We were also impressed with him getting the most out of his mobile phone. If there is an item that needs to be purchased, say a kitchen facet, Tom will email you several styles to pick from and purchase it himself. It saves you time from having to go to the hardware store and you know it going to work... BIG plus! I think you can see how efficient he is and you won't be disappointed with his work.

Tom was an amazing handyman. We had originally hired him to fence in our backyard for our puppy and were so thrilled with his work we hired him to finish our basement. First and foremost, Tom was very trustworthy. We gave him a key and he completed the basement while we were at work. We never had to worry about anything going wrong as Tom worked very efficiently and gave us lots of updates and was in constant communication. We found him very professional and his work was very clean. He also didn’t mind a crazy puppy in the house while he worked. We did find the sub-contracted mudders to not have the same work ethic or quality for workmanship as Tom. However, they did keep us on budget so a little extra mess was fine. We would recommend Goodfellow Handyman Service to anyone looking.

We are very satisfied with the fence that Tom built for us. Everything was completed on time and within pre-agreed budget. When Tom found out that we have a disabled son, he installed gates safety features to keep our kid safe and sound. We are very pleased with the work Tom conducted for us.

Tom was a true professional in every way. From start to finish our neighbourhood fencing job was completed with extreme attention to detail. Tom was prompt, friendly and genuinely intersted in making sure all of his customers were happy. He was also very reasonably priced. It is with pleasure that I am able to write a review in regards to Tom Goodfellows workmanship and overall performance. When quoting on building my deck / pergola, he provided me with various options and never hesitated in implementing / listening to suggestions or changes that I may have had. Tom built my deck / pergola in a timely fashion with no disruptions to me or my family. After the completion of the job, Tom not only cleaned up (very little) of what was left from the building of the deck but also some items that were on the property prior to his arrival.

I would not hesitate in recommending Tom to others and I'm already anticipating in having him back to build my arbour. He has gone beyond the call of duty and has exceed my expectations.

Tom did quite a few things for us: Installed backsplash, 5 light fixtures, changed our outlets, painted 2 rooms, plumbing and brought up our electric outlets to be higher for our wall-mounted TVs. He was extremely clean and meticulous with his work and very honest. I would not hesitate to have him do more work for us and recommend him to others.

Tom did the bathroom wallpaper stripping when no one else would. The garden work and sanding painting etc. of the kitchen counters was done on 3 separate evenings while I was on vacation so he also watered the hanging baskets and brought in the mail. He was thoughtful enough to leave on the porch light in case it was dark when I returned home.

Tom has completed a number of different jobs around my home, from painting to plumbing to electrical work. I have always found him to be fair and honest in his charges, extremely clean while working and well informed. He explains what he is doing and why and will also say if he feels that he is not qualified to tackle a particular job.

I have no hesitation recommending him.
