We recently renovated our basement recroom and hired Mark It Done for the job. It required him to remove the existing panelling and ceiling tiles, reinsulating as necessary, and installing drywall on the walls and ceiling. Also asked him to take care of all the painting and finishing touches. We were impressed by his detailed quote and also his promptness in completing the work. At the end of each work day he cleaned the basement and his work area was left neat and tidy. We appreciated that he arrived at our house on time each morning. Any problems that arose, he discussed with us in a timely and professional manner, while offering suggestions and/or solutions to same.

Mark's quote for the job we posted was the most detailed. We were having wallpaper and old carpeting removed from three bedrooms, laminate flooring installed and the rooms painted. He did a thorough job including clean up right on budget . We next had him over to remove the sprayed on popcorn ceiling in the family room and replace with ceiling tiles and paint the room. We also asked him to install extra insulation in a storage area. Everything was handled with complete professionalism and courtesy. His advice is sound too and his suggestions will more than likely save you money. Mark It Done will not let you down.

I am a single, retired woman living in a detached home and pride myself on never asking friends or family for favours. The first time I used Mark It Done was for a small bathroom paint job. I had written down the contact number of Mark It Done while following his van through the neighbourhood. Mark submitted a very reasonable estimate and within days the job was completed. Without realizing it, I had complicated the job by using 3 colours (1-ceiling and 2-walls). Mark never complained, nor did he try and renegotiate the estimate. I didn't even know I had caused a problem until Mark explained it would take an extra hour for the paint to dry before he could apply a 2nd coat where the different colours met.

The largest job Mark It Done tackled for me followed the installation of new laminate flooring. I have an open concept kitchen and my final goal was to do something imaginative with my much hated kitchen cabinets and island. The first step was to have Mark It Done paint the kitchen, living room and hallway walls. Once completed, I took time to investigate and decide how I wanted to tackle the cabinets and island. I finally decided I wanted to persue the option of painting the cabinets, rather than replacing them. I called Mark to discuss the job and give me an estimate. It was a big job, all doors and drawers had to be removed and prepared separate from the actual cabinets. Mark was very sensitive to the fact I was living in the midst of this job and he never put me off until the job was completed. The results are great, I love my cabinets and considering the alternative of replacing all of the cabinets and island the savings are phenominal.

I have used Mark It Done several times, most recently to replace a toilet in the spare bathroom. This is the second toilet Mark It Done has replaced for me and the fact that Mark leaves the bathroom spotless, taking away the old toilet, boxing and garbage is a huge benefit.
