I have never been so utterly disappointed dealing with a company before in my life. I received a Living Social voucher that was worth 4 hours of cleaning as a gift from a friend. After placing a call to Dani's Green Clean, Dani response quickly and told me to email her and she would reply with the next available date. So I scheduled my appointment for a month later and was looking forward to utilizing their services.
When the day of my appointment arrived, I left work (unpaid) to be home to let Dani's Green Clean into my house. My appointment time came and went. After half an hour, I phoned and left a voicemail indicating that no one had showed up and my appointment time had passed. After an hour had passed I called again; still no answer. This time in my voicemail, I explained I was a tad disappointed because I had taken time off work and just wanted someone to call me back and explain what happened. This was Friday around 3:30pm and 4:00pm.
All weekend I wondered what happened to my appointment. Finally on Monday, Dani wrote me an email simply saying they had somehow forgot about my appointment and that they would try and schedule it again soon. I was pretty upset.
I explained to Dani that I had taken time off work to be at this appointment and found it discouraging that they made no attempt to make up for my frustration and lost time. Honestly if I had received a phone call with a sincere apology (instead of an e-mail) and perhaps an offer to extend my 4 hours of cleaning to 8 hours, I would have been sufficiently impressed.
I even told Dani in my email that I was disappointed because I was looking for a regular cleaning company to visit my place monthly and that this voucher would be a good chance to test out the company.
After this experience, I would never recommend this company to anyone. Regardless of how well they may or may not clean (I never got to find out), the way they conduct themselves as a business is just disrespectful.
