Michael and his team have completed two projects in my apartment and I am quite pleased with the outcome. Michael always kept communication open about the projects, which created flexibility in the event I wanted to alter something.

From the very beginning Mike was professional and courteous , although I was a bit reluctant (my last contractor swindled me of 3000$ and never ever showed up).

Mike and his team put all my fears to rest very early on. His team was always on time and worked very hard throughout the day. There were times that my wife was worried because his team wouldn't even take a break to eat and they even wouldn't talk to each other while working... this was funny and extremely professional at the same time. Every one of them took pride in what they did. My Deck came out perfect (better than what I had hoped for or expected).

Seeing this quality of work I have booked him to take down my old garage and build a new one. In addition he will be doing renovations in our basement.

As long as I am in Toronto, I will not go with any other contractor but him.

Hi I just want to say that i had MTP construction group do my hall floor in ceramic. The work was done great, the demolition was extremely fast and clean and the construction was equally as efficient tidy. Though what impressed me the most was there professionalism. It started when they came to give a quote, well explained and very fairly priced so i gave them the go ahead. within 2 days it was done and paid for but it didn't stop there. Micheal came back 3 days later to seal the floor and made sure we knew how to care for it. We were so impressed that when the time comes to renovate our kitchen we now know who is going to complete that job. Michael and his crew completed "phase 2" of our bathroom renovation - new soaker tub, faucets, window and the tiling surrounding the tub and up one wall. Michael and I agreed on a labour cost for the job and I provided all materials. After a delay in receiving the tub, Mike was still flexible about getting the job going asap. He and his crew were courteous and friendly - they were very clear about the extra materials they needed and why as they went through the work. Even through it took a day longer than expected to complete, Mike and team worked on Saturday to get it done asap. After they finished, there was a minor issue that came up; but Mike came back the very next day to address the problem. We're very happy with the quality of the work and it looks great. We look forward to working with Mike again and would certainly recommend him.

I was visiting my mother when I noticed that one of her neighbors was having some work done in their home by the MTP construction group. I popped in to take a peak at what was being done, I was amazed at the quality of the work being done. I asked Michael if he could come to my house and give me an estimate for some work to be done on my basement. Michael came by, and I told him that I wanted my basement to have 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a full laundry room, and a complete kitchen. Michael started by giving me a sketch and then he broke down the charges for me first the charges for the frame work, then the charges for the electrical and the plumbing, and the rest of the charges were given as each new section of work progressed on. I never knew that the work could be done so fast and so very professional. I had contacted several other companies that gave me long deadlines and very high prices, and on top of that the estimate process would cost me as well. I was not happy about that, but Michael and his team came gave me a free estimate, and not only that but they worked very fast and clean they gave me all that I asked for and much more. I really love the kitchen space it was small but they made it seem so large and spacious. I thank Michael and the MTP construction group for the work they did to improve my home, and recommended them to my family and friends. Thank You again Michael and MTP construction group.

Michael and his team did an excellent job of grading and landscaping around the perimeter of my house, adding a cement walk that sloped outward and creating a channel to take water away from the house. He ripped down my old deck and installed a very sold new one, exactly to my specifications. All work was done on time. He and his team cleaned up the site thoroughly each day with a final clean up at the end. Michael listened well to what I wanted and delivered the goods. He also worked on the laundry room, dry walling, painting, and installing vinyl flooring - all done in a day. I highly recommend his services.

We found Mike (MTP Contracting owner) on HandyCanadian.com We had just purchased a house and wanted to do some major renovations before we moved in - removing popcorn ceiling on main floor and entire bedrooms, install new floors (laminate), redo bathroom, redo stairs. We got several quotes and MTP came in the middle. We were nervous to go with someone that we didn't have a first hand referral from, but decided to take a chance and I can say now that I definetly don’t regret.

First off Mike is terrific guy, he is patient and always takes time to answer any questions or concerns I had from the beginning to the end of our renovation project. I contacted him a lot and he again was always very accommodating, taking the time to address every concern we had. He worked extremely hard to make us happy. There were a few cases where something didn’t look exactly the way I wanted, and Mike in good spirit took it upon him self to fix it to our satisfaction.

Our upstairs renovations was a dream come true. Our neighbors came after the renovations to take a look and were blown away. Our family was shocked. My wife didn’t get a chance to see the house until it was complete and she was simply amazed. The attention to detail Mike showed was superb. When him and his crew were finished he called me while I was on the road and asked me to come by and take a walk with him throughout the house and asked me simply point out anything I felt wasn’t done the way I had probably wished, I told him one or two things as I am very very picky person, and the second I mentioned what I wanted to have changed he quickly called some of his crew members went back to work to have the work done before. Excellent guy, will use for any job we need done around the house. Again I would highly recommend.

We needed to have our 30 year old garage repaired and a new concrete retaining wall and fence put in across the back of our property. The retaining wall was problematic due to a very old tree which abutted the existing wooden retaining wall. Because of the city by-law restrictions on building along or near property lines, we were very concerned about who we would hire to do the jobs. We consider ourselves very lucky to have found Michael of MTP Construction Group. He knew what he was doing and knew the regulations he had to work within. I was very pleased with the work MTP Construction Group did on my home. They are extremely professional and do beautiful work. First I had them do my back patio and it turned out stunning. better than I could have ever imagined! It was done timly and it looked superb. I have been getting nothing but compliments and people asking where I got it done. I never have a problem letting them know how good and reliable they are to work with.

After I had my patio done so well I asked them about installing hardwood floors in my living room and again I was ecstatic at the results they achieved. Punctuality was an issue but this should not skew the quality of work he achieved for us. He was still able to complete our project on time. I found Michael's company, MTP Construction Group, on the Handy Canadian website. After reading the reviews & noting the 5 star rating I called him about the project I wanted to do with my backyard. I was impressed with his professionalism & knew before he started exactly the cost & materials he would use. I had a vision for my backyard & Michael & his crew realized it for me. Originally the backyard consisted of an upper & lower deck. I am a corner house & the east side of my property was a large grass area that was not being used. We decided to install 2 pattern concrete patios- one to replace the old wooden lower deck & one on the east side of the property. The shed was removed & a hot tub enclosure was built. The entire yard had a new fence built around it. Next to the patios gardens were planted. On the east side a pond was installed along with a gazebo. By the lower deck a geyser fountain was installed. We decided to replace the old pergola roof on the upper deck. Michael & his crew(especially Junior & Patrick) stained all the wood of the deck & fence & even a gate & chair brought from my previous house. Because I was so pleased with their work I decided to have them paint my house which is wood & stucco. All old paint was scraped off before any new paint was applied & all windows were taped off. Before Michael laid an outdoor carpet in my breezeway he repaired the under flooring. As a finishing project Michael & his crew surfaced my driveway & filled in all the cracks. I got to meet many new neighbours because they were so impressed with Michael's work & wanted tours of my new backyard. I can't imagine any other company doing a better job as Michael "saw" the vision I had for my yard & even improved on it. I admire Michael's work ethic & his honesty. He NEVER left this project at any time to begin another. All this work was completed within 2 months. Would I recommend Michael's company to others? I already have!!

We just used MTP Construction for a couple of major projects at our home in Whitby. We needed to build a secure deck in the back yard so our Grandson would not injure himself while playing on the deck. This meant we had to move our existing hot tub to another area. We knew this was going to be a big job, but we were pleasantly surprised at the outcome. They quoted a reasonable price, started the work on time, displayed professional workmanship and completed the work on schedule. We watched everything they did. They worked tirelessly to get the job done. We made sure they had plenty of water during the heat wave. You can tell they care about what they do and that they are proud of their accomplishments. MTP CONSTRUCTION GROUP did a wonderful job in my home, renovating my basement apartment, also removing the board flooring and replacing with beautiful marbles tiles throughout my entire house, they also remove the board railing form my staircase, replacing it with steel railing in a beautiful designer pattern.
