General Contractor in Newmarket, ON

Brett and Tony completed an amazing regutting and bathroom renovation. HIghlights are their expertise in finding solutions around problems (eg needed access to hot/cold water pipe in the main hallway- they came up with a return air grill close to the floor- it barely shows!). The tile job is amazing-in order to have as many full length tiles, they calculated the mosaic width to ensure no cutting of tiles along the ceiling to make it look well balanced.

I am also very grateful to Brett for being constantly available after my job was supposed to be completed because the AHM (MDF) vanity from Home Hardware was of inadequate quality and Brett ran between the store and my place several times to deliver and pick up vanities. He has a fine eye for quality and I trust his opinion. One little comment - Brett, you should let me help you lift things when you're by yourself instead having scratching fresh paint- a little scratch and easy to fix!!

Despite all the setbacks-warped studs, poor quality vanity- the bathroom looks amazing and Brett was kind, courteous and professional through out with a concerted effort to clean up after the job.

I had, Brett, replace the wooden front steps and include handrails on both the new steps and the existing back steps, to my mother's house,in Sutton West.

Brett was unable to make the 1st. appointment date to evaluate the project owing to unforeseen problem at another site but called as soon as he was aware of the conflict( hours before the scheduled time) explaining and willingly arranging another date that suited me.

The 2nd. date he was there on time and I found myself dealing with a very genial, knowledgeable and "down home comfortable" gentleman who listened to my request and opinions on the job and offered only the necessary adjustments to do the job on budget and to fit the site requirements.

He refused,however, to do the job of the handrail for the back steps, unless he was able to build a guardrail around the back stoop adjacent to the the steps, at his expense. The stoop was one of those things you had," just got use to being there," it had been there since the house was built, being refurbished several times. My mother is now 87 and to have, Brett, point out the oversight and to offer to correct it himself was impressive, quite professional and exhibited a consideration of not only the project but the needs of his client.

The project when first spoken of was to be done, 4 weeks from the estimate. The job was done 2 weeks ahead of schedule,in one day and on budget.

Am I impressed? Yes. Am I pleased? Yes. Henceforth, any "handy job" mother needs, I need or I hear anyone needs done, Brett will be the Guy I call and refer others too..

We would highly recommend Brett to anyone looking for a professional, reliable and honest handyman. He was timely in his delivery of services, kept in regular contact with us and provided before and after photos of his work. We found this to be extremely helpful, as we have tenants living at the property. There were no surprises or hidden costs in the final invoice, as he was very upfront about his fees/rates. He was a pleasure to work with and we would not hesitate to call on his services again!

We have a medical office in Aurora that needed multiple items installed/fixed as well as painting. Items included TV and security system installation; electrical outlet installation, plumbing and faucet/sink installation and repair, drywall repair and other numerous things that have been on my todo list for years to freshen the office up.

Brett came through above my expectations. He came by and was able to offer a quick and reasonable estimate. The actual job (especially the painting in a short time frame) was excellent and he worked off hours/weekend in my case to get it done without interrupting my business.

Brett provided daily updates by email/phone as I was away on vacation while he was working and the office was left clean and tidy at the end of the job.

I have already recommended him to another professional in the area and I would/will definitely be using his services again. I am always happy to be surprised on the upside and Brett's experience as a professional shows as he delivers on-time and as promised.

Definitely recommend using Brett if he's avaialble for your work. Finaly, he is honest and if the project is beyond his abilities; he will be the first to tell you.

Brett gave us a timely quote, showed up exactly when he said he would, and did an excellent job while sticking to budget. He was also extremely quick to reply to emails along the way, which was a welcome change from many other contractors we've worked with. Would not hesitate to hire him again, or to recommend him to others.

We have a new home, where we were supposed to have smooth ceilings throughout, but the builder messed up and instead they were the "popcorn" spray ceilings. Our builder refunded our cost but wouldn’t fix them which is what we wanted as it is such a messy job once you have furniture and etc. in. We had lived in a very old home previously and had experienced trying to repair spackled ceiling cracks, in the end we had the expense of re-dry walling. So for this new home we had our mind set on smooth ceilings and were very disappointed with the builder. We decided to go ahead and fix a few rooms while the rooms were clear.

We found lone-wolf online and contacted Brett, and from the beginning he was so professional and understanding, showing empathy to our problems with the builder. It was nice to know he understood. He came and did the job in just two days and it looks fantastic! Being such a dusty job he put down drop cloths and vacuumed constantly to keep the dust down. He was friendly and has a great work ethic, wanting to do the best job possible. He kept the job the cleanest we've ever seen. His workmanship was excellent and knew exactly what materials and methods to use to get the job done. He solved our problem and made our ceiling look awesome!

We highly recommend him, we moved for work, from over an hour away to a new community where we know few people. It’s nice to know we have our go-to contractor for all our future projects!!

I found Lone-wolf enterprises on the internet and had called for a quote. I was surprised that Brett Barager came over to my house without hesitation and also very quickly. I received my quote and had discussed it with him. An appointment was set up for him to start working the weekend after the may 24 holiday. Bright and early Brett came over with his employee and started the renovations on my kitchen. The work was done quickly and efficiently and I was happy with the results. I had also asked for a few minor details to be added when doing the renovations and Brett was very accommodating and always said it will be no problem, you are the customer it is your kitchen, I am here to do what you like. As promised, my kitchen was finished in the time Brett had promised. I had him back in july to renovate my bathroom and he also did a marvelous job. We are very impressed at what a good job and handy man Brett is. I could go on and on at all the good things Brett did for us but i won't over do it.. I would though, like to say just one last thing and I liked it how when we could not get at our water pipes to turn them off, Brett had made a SMALL door in the wall for an easy access for the next time we will need an emergency shut off. I would never have thought of that. I highly recommend Brett's company Lone-wolf enterprises to do basically any type of renovations in the home . Well done Brett, and thanks again for a nice job !!

I was delighted with the work done my Brett of Lone-Wolf in my home. I hired him to refinish pine floors which I had completely wrecked by my terrible amateur efforts. The job involved sanding layers of horrible oil based paint, sanding (about 5 hours for 100 sq feet), staining and urethaning

First off, Brett gave me options based on budget and desired outcome. He was very knowledgeable about the process. He went out of his way to do research on various options and also to help me with other ideas for projects. He estimated 2 days for the job and stayed till 9 pm the first night to stay on target. He has a strong work ethic.This was such a welcome contrast to other contractors who mysteriously have disappeared for days on end without explanation.

I was delighted with the result and will be hiring Lone-Wolf for more projects in my home. For you single ladies out there, Brett is very respectful and trustworthy and I had no hesitation in giving him access to my home.

Brett has done work for us a couple of times. We needed a shelf for snow tires and at the same time wanted screens installed in our eavestroughs. He showed up on time, completed the work quickly and the price was very reasonable. The next job involved removing wood baseboard and replacing it with tile in a bathroom. Again, the work was completed on time and we are happy with both the price and the quality. We would recommend him to others and plan to hire him again.

I needed some drywall repaired in my main bathroom. I was very pleased with the timely and courteous service I received.

After buying our first home, my fiance and I had a bit of work ahead of us with the floors, painting the walls,deciding what we want to do with our washrooms and kitchen, etc..

It was so great to have Brett come in and walk us through exactly what he would be doing while refinishing our hardwood floors. He kept us in the loop throughout the entire process, not taking a next step without touching base with us first, and even entertained my future Mother in Law!

Before any work started, he quoted us a "best case scenario", a "worst case scenario" and an "in between scenario". It really makes the process a lot easier when you can already wrap your head around what you could potentially be spending. He really did everything he could to help us keep our costs down, and we are BEYOND grateful for everything!

We love our floors, and it felt so great to have such a big project off our plate!

(And the price!! For two young "kids" just getting started, it was awesome that we were able to get such quality work without having the stretch ourselves too thin!)

I found Lone-Wolf Enterprises on this website just by chance..... I was extremely satisfied with all aspects of the projects they completed for me!!! I highly recommend his services! A great job and a pleasure to have in my home!

Hired Brett, Lone-Wolf to re-tile a bath tub / shower surround. 70 square feet in total. He agreed to start Monday Dec.12 and be finished by Dec 18. He started on Tuesday the 13th, didn't show on the 14th, worked the 15th then didn't show until Sat. the 17th.

He tried to finish the job Dec. 24th 1/2 day ( 9 til 1:30), Came back boxing day 9:30 until 9:15 pm. Left with out finishing the job. Window molding and corner base board never replaced. Tile work is well below industry standard, Tile spacing is poor at best and wall surface has highs and lows. I selected Brett based on his web site and an interview. Turns out he didn't have a wet tile saw and he is not comfortable with measuring and fitting tile. I'm not sure why he took the job other than to use it as training at my expense. Please call to discuss this mess.
