This major bathroom renovation could not have gone better. Wayne was always willing to go the extra mile to accommodate us. The worksite was always kept super clean and the guys were a pleasure to have around. The finished product is SPECTACULAR!!! I guess the best recomandation is that I have hired him to do the kitchen and another bathroom.

What would I say about Wayne and his crew at Devine Construction:.
- you listened and asked questions
- you provided the information you were asked for, i.e. detailed quote, etc.
- changes were made with a new quote for the new work - so it wasn't buried in other things
- things were done right, promptly and respectfully
- you worked around my wife's nightsifts so she could sleep
- you kept me informed with delays i.e. Union Gas and updates on revisions
- the project was exactly as we had envisioned it; (i.e. how you and your crew work)
- the site was always clean & tidy, so even the kids could walk through it without us parents being concerned
- you allowed Jesse (our son) who wants to get into construction to help / learn with you and your crew
- your invoice was within $400 of the price you quoted on a job that was over $60,000
- you've worked painfully hard to correct the issues that came with your roofers of the time - this is the most impressive one!!
- the garage is a beautiful thing, unless people saw it getting built they don't even realise it's an addition to a 45 year old house.
You have many fans in our neighbourhood especially about how you worked, the quality of your build and the look of the finished product.
Wayne, thanks for making this a painless experience, with a perfect product at the end.

Not only does this company provide outstanding workmanship, they are also very accommodating in dealing with unusual ideas and changes, very helpful at the design stage, extremely careful and tidy, and thoroughly lovely people. The crew assigned to our project were downright charming and we were sorry to see them go when the project was completed! The inevitable problems that happen during major renovations were dealt with considerately and professionally, and resolved to everyone's satisfaction. I am immensely grateful that I found this company through this web site: the finished project is more beautiful than I could have imagined, and the experience of dealing with these people made the upheaval of construction about as pleasant as it could possibly have been.

Divine Construction did an excellent job of installing upstairs replacement windows as well as replacing the entire front entrance (door, side windows).
There were delays in the project, mostly as a result of the windows/door manufacturer not getting order details correct on the initial order.
The workers cleaned up well after their work, and the final result looked very professional.

We began this major renovation - to increase our one-storey 600 sq ft bungalow to a two-storey 1800 ft house - with a lot of dreams and a lot of anxiety. Wayne (the owner) and the Divine Construction Crew quickly put the fears to rest while making the dream a reality. I cannot say enough about the friendliness and professionalism of Wayne and his crew. They were responsive to all of our requests - including a few last minute changes on our part. The only glitches we faced were with external suppliers, and Wayne worked tirelessly to advocate on our behalf with those people until an acceptable solution could be reached. At the end of our four month project, everything came in within 5% of the original quote - which is nearly unheard of with projects of this size! The work was all done well, and has made our home a place we love to show off as we continue living in it (and loving it!) six months after completion. If we have any future renovation needs, we will certainly be calling Divine Construction again.

(Bathroom reno) Our first reno experience-we had heard many horror stories(thanks Mike Holmes) and we're unsure how to pick the right contractor. After much research, met with Wayne from Divine and knew we had the right guy. Despite being our first reno and us being unaware of everything it entailed, Wayne was helpful and open to what we needed. He provided an itemized quote quickly and up front and revised our quote for us when we changed our minds on certain issues without question.
Once work started the guys were on site early and were very approachable, again open to questions/concerns or just friendly conversation. These guys, were here to work and it showed, working full (long) days. Being an older home there were several quirks and hiccups that the guys ran into, all dealt with, with a minimal impact on budget/time/finished product. A great (and unexpected) bonus for us was the fact that there was cleaup done everynight-still tools and supplies left behind obviously, but the 'mess' of construction was gone at the end of the day-nicely done! At one point we discovered we had bought the wrong tub for our setup, not only did Wayne offer to take our tub back for us but managed to find a tub that exceeded our expectations-again without impatience at our 'rookie mistake'.
All in all a great experience, with a friendly knowledgeable team. Easy to recommend especially to rookies like us. I guess the best feedback we can give is we've already asked Wayne to quote us for our kitchen project next.
