Robert was easy to communicate with and responded to every email efficiently. He was able to give us a quote and complete all the work within a weeks time. He pointed out some hazards that he found when replacing the receptacles and improved the safety while explaining the costs before he completed the work. I had many questions that he was more than willing to answer and we will definately be asking Robert back to continue the upgrades in our house in the near future.

After getting several quotes for a basement renovation from other electricians, I finally came across Electrilight Ltd. Robert got back to me within a couple of hours to set up an appointment for a quote. His quote was thorough, and overall better than the previous quotes and more in line with my budget for the work I wanted to do. He was always punctual, polite, very knowledgeable and very professional. He ran all the wiring throughout the basement, cleaned up the existing wiring from the builder lights, and installed all the boxes, dimmers and switches and was extremely tidy with the whole process. He is now my preferred electrician/recommendation for any future electrical work that I or anyone I know may need.

I contacted Electrilight to quote my basement renovation. The house is an original 1950’s bungalow and the electrical was in need of updating as well as old wiring to be made safe. His quotation was very accurate, with no surprise costs or extras. He addressed the old wiring and made safe, tidied up the panel as needed and installed new electrical services to the rec room. He was punctual, courteous and extremely professional. Workmanship was very professional and super tidy! He met all the timelines he promised, showing up with all the right tools and equipment to complete the job in a timely manner. Very easy to communicate with, whether phone or email and always answers his calls.

As a contractor in the industry for some 20 years I have seen many trades come and go, recently are electrian retired leaving us to find a new one which was difficult after working with the same guy for many years. We came across Rob and many others and asked them to submit a detailed estimate on a pending job. Robs price was not the lowest or highest but right around the number I had budgeted. Rob came when he said he would, which is extremly important to us as contractors he was easy to work with and did a professional job on time and on BUDGET. I have hired Robbert for a number of jobs around the home. Installing Ethernet drops, installing 2 cieling fans. He is a very fast and courteous person. I was very happy with his work and his punctuality. He will be working on another job for me this fall wshen the weather cools down.

Robert came out and did some electrical work for one of my clients in Burlington. He addressed some logistical concerns and managed to do everything the client wanted. The installation looks great, is safe, to code and the client is thrilled.
