Toujours à  l'heure, trà¨s courtois, propre (le soir lorsque son équipe quittait), trà¨s communicatif s'il rencontrait des problà¨mes il nous appellait et nous expliquait de long en large le problà¨me et la solution. Trouvé des soloutions aussi pour nous faire économiser. Le travail accomplie est de qualité supérieure et tout est garantie. Almost exactly one year ago, we found Rene Rozon's name on this website, and we were impressed by the excellent ratings he got from people here. We decided to hire him for the renos needed in and around the house we had just acquired in Beaconsfield. Since then he did a great deal of work for us: he replaced one half of our roof, he installed a window, he replaced a small door with a large sliding patio door which involved brick work, he changed and rerouted gutters, he built a deck (which impressed several of our neighbours), he removed our old fireplace, he enlarged our entrance hall by moving a wall, and he took care of our entire kitchen renovation. All of this work was done very professionally, and was carried out within the time frame we had been promised.

Rene is very reliable, trustworthy, and a good communicator. When discussing projects he was able to foresee potential issues and always made helpful suggestions. He informed us beforehand of anything that might cause us concern, and he described clearly what we should expect in terms of the process and the overall look and feel.

At some point, I experienced a lot of stress when something unexpected came up during the renovation. I must say that Rene always managed to reassure me that he would take care of things and that I did not need to worry. Renovation is really hard to live through, but with Rene's team on the job it was a much better experience than it could have been otherwise. All his employees are skilled, respectful, polite, and dependable. And the other professionals he brought in (electricians, plumbers and bricklayers) all did excellent work. He does not hire the cheapest, but the ones that do the best job. He also makes sure that his employees clean up after themselves. At the end of the day, Rene always followed up with us on whether the completed work was done to our satisfaction. When not on site himself, he came by often to check on things. He always paid attention to detail and remembered what needed to be done.

The best thing about having Rene as your contractor is peace of mind. One need not worry about what happens at the house during one's absence, or whether things will be done right. He is completely trustworthy. He even fixed some unexpected things that came up without charging us extra. We will hire him again for any future renovations because we know that everything will be completed properly, will look good, and that we will not have to worry about anything during or after the reno.

Rene Rozon is an excellent contractor and a perfectionist. He and his team gutted our ensuite bathroom and rebuilt it making a larger shower, moving the whirpool bath and installing a new vanity with all the accompanying work involved. He and his workers were always on time, friendly and polite and never failed to tidy-up upon departure. When he ran into minor problems he suggested solutions that were creative and enhansed the project. Rene did not assume what we wanted but rather consulted us as decisions were needed during the ongoing project. He managed both his workers and sub-contractors efficiently and well.

The project was completed in a timely fashion and on budget. We are very happy with his professional work and feel we got very good value for the money spent. We would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone and would use his services again in the future.

Rene Rozon Construction recently completed two projects in our home. The first was installing a new shower, the second, a total kitchen renovation. Both projects (small and large) were handled with the utmost professionalism and attention to detail. The projects progressed on time with all personal showing up as scheduled and completing work in a timely manner. When we met with Rene to go over what we wanted done, he gave us suggestions, provided us with options and made sure we understood what impact each selection (cost and time) had on the overall project.

We decided to hire Rene to undertake our basement finishing project based on excellent reviews on this site. Upon his first visit, I was impressed by his knowledge of home renovation and clear understanding of building code, which I concerned the most. I had planned to finish the basement by myself and had been trying to find solutions for some problems I might encountered. Having seen how Rene and his team tackled the job, I am glad we hired them to get the job done professionally. Not only did he do the work properly, he was very patient explaining me why he did his way. I had the feeling that he cared about the work as much as we do. That’s priceless for us.

Another concern we had was the disruption of our everyday routine. With two young kids, it was hard to change our daily routine. Rene’s team accommodate our need and managed to get everything done on time. It was quite amazing that my five-year old son didn’t really notice when all the work was done before he saw the finished basement.

We found Rene Rozon on the internet after a less than satisfying encounter with another Contractor who we had also found on the internet. Suffice it to say we approached Rene with extreme caution considering our experience with the other contractor.

From the start, Rene, who personally came to evaluate the project, was not only frank and honest with our potential options for our kitchen vision, he provided excellent advice regarding alternate points of views contrary to what we originally had. He proposed sound advice, and his first estimate, which of course was "ball park" , ended up extremely close to the final amount invoiced for his work.

He insisted we seek other quotes from other contractors. He also brought us to recently finished residential projects he had completed and allowed us to speak with the home owners for their opinions as well as seeing the quality of the final project.

Ultimately we decided to go with Rene. He delivered on every commitment from, time lines, to quality of work. His team was punctual EVERY day and Rene himself was on site constantly.

We recently hired Rene Rozon to do a major renovation at our home. This included redoing all the floors on the main level, the entire kitchen, 2 bathrooms upstairs and two sets of staircases. You can imagine that short of building a new home this is about as significant a makeover as you can do.

We chose Rene Rozon based on the reviews we had read as well as after several meetings to discuss the project and to plan it out. This project has turned out exactly as we had hoped. Rene and his team were very courteous and professional, and were a pleasure to work with. The communication with Rene was excellent, and he went out of his way to ensure that we were getting the outcome we wanted. Throughout the project he not only ensured that he was delivering what he had committed, but also provided design suggestions to improve the end product. We truly felt that his priority wasn't to just "finish the job and move on" but rather to make sure we were getting a renovation that we would be happy with.

This is our second project with Rene Rozon Construction, we had a hardwood floor put in downstairs in the family room and office. The advice given to us was invaluable, the project turned out great. It was started on the agreed date and finished within the time frame we were told. We contracted Rene Rozon Construction to renovate and enlarge our bathroom. As this was the only full bathroom in the house, it was hugely important for us that this renovation proceed on schedule, as quickly as possible. Rene ensured us that it would and he did not disappoint! Before hiring Rene, we visited several homes where he had completed renovations, and saw first hand the quality of his work. We were also able to speak to the homeowners, and determine their level of satisfaction. Rene took the time to review our plans with us, making helpful suggestions and answering all our questions. He provided us with a work schedule and took charge of the job. Rene was on site all day, every day, overseeing the work, co-ordinating the sub-contractors and keeping us up-to-date on the progress. After extensive research I chose Rene Rozon Construction initially because of his honesty and the fact that he brought me to see 3 previous projects within the West Island, which gave me the opportunity to see firsthand the excellent workmanship and also to speak, in private, with each client about their experience working with Rene and his team.

Secondly, as a single parent with a limited budget and a lack of knowledge in what it entails to renovate a kichen, Rene was sensitive to my financial restrictions and was more than willing to assist in providing me with the necessary information and guidance to complete the project within budget without compromising too much my vision of my new kitchen.

As they say, "always expect the unexpected" and sure enough shortly after gutting my kitchen Rene and his team discovered several problems, created by other handymen who obviously did not have the proper training and knowledge. We had a major renovation project done in our basement in early 2008 using the services of Rene Rozon and his team. This was more than just renovating an existing basement but rather, it involved completely changing the floor plan (the team gutted the basement for us), insulation in all the walls, as well as building a new modern washroom, including glass shower and heated floors.

We found the work itself to be done on-time and on-budget with all changes and additions discussed and agreed to beforehand.

Following this work, any issue which came up or any touch-ups that had to be made was handled very quickly and we always had the impression that they stood behind their work. We are still very happy with the work done as well as the service post-construction. In fact we have had additional work done elsewhere in the house using their services again based on our positive initial experience and found the quality and service just as good the second time around.

After a disastrous start with another contractor (the ones Mike Holmes is always talking about) we throw him out and called Rene who happened to turn out to be the Mike Holmes of the West Island. Rene, Neil and their team came in with their large container on the day they said they would and as promised threw down and out everything the first contractor built (nothing the other contractor built was to code as per our engineer ) and re-started the extension/addition on the garage attached to our house from scratch. Rene used quality material, followed the code, and also only used quality sub-contractors (who were not afraid to advertise their names on their trucks). They (sub-contractors) also showed up on the days they promised they would, for which Rene should be compliment for. By being on site everyday and all day (always with a smile) it only shorten the re-construction time. In no time, thanks to Rene Rozon and his team we have a beautiful addition/extension attached to our house built to last for a long time and on budget. We would strongly recommend his services to others, without hesitations. I would not hesitate to use Rene and his team for any home improvement project. Il fut trs cratif pour suggrer des relocalisations de conduites ou drains. Il nous a galement accomod pour des rajouts en cours de projet. La qualit des matriaux utiliss ainsi que l'excution des travaux sont au-dessus de la moyenne. Tout s'est fait de faon trs professionnelle, tout tait bien ramass chaque soir et nous n'avions pas l'impression d'tre "en pleine rno". L'quipe tait polie et courtoise. M. Rozon et son quipe sont recommander pour des rnovations avec la paix d'esprit.

We had a bathroom renovated by Rene Rozon Construction recently. I can easily say that the experiance was great. They started when they said they would and finished when they said. We used Rene Rozon to renovate our basement, starting from tearing down the old basement all the way down to the foundation of the house. From there, we had him and his team re-build a whole new layout, including putting in a bathroom, with a custom-built glass shower.

The overall quality of the work turned out to be excellent, including showing up on time, putting up with several changes along the way and even offering us advice and suggestions based on his experience in similar projects elsewhere.

The budget was higher than what we had originally planned but this was discussed along the way, agreed to by us and most often a result of additional work which we asked for as things started to take shape.

In the end, the finish product was actually even better than what we had envisaged and we were very satisfied with our decision to use Rene and his team. We would strongly recommend his services to others, without hesitations.

Our 25 years old DIY deck was about to collapse when we were introduced to Rene Rozon as someone who would build us a quality deck. We are now the proud owners of a cedar deck to match anyone in the West Island. With Renes design skills we were able to develop a deck which sweeps around one side of our in-ground pool. The deck has enhanced both our view from the dining room and our view of the back yard as well as providing an extra entertainment area.

We were so pleased with the deck that we asked Rene if he was interested in re-doing our ensuite and main bathrooms. We agreed that a complete demolition of both (back to back bathrooms) would facilitate a complete redesign of both rooms. Suffice to say we now have two bathrooms, one with shower and the other with Jacuzzi style bath of which we are very pleased. Every step of the way Rene spent as much time as was needed to present ideas of how the project could be improved. He recommended new materials which ensured a quality job.

Having the bathrooms finished we then went on to have him completely renovate the main floor of our bungalow, hallway, sitting room and dining room. A new laundry room and spare bedroom downstairs and a new ceiling to the family room left only the kitchen to tackle.

We wanted a completely new kitchen, including all new cabinets. Rene suggested that we get quotes from kitchen specialists as it would be much cheaper than having him custom make cabinets. This we did, leaving Rene the task to demolish the old kitchen and build the barebones of the new. This involved laying a new tiled floor, over a heated floor and knocking a couple of walls down to suit the new design.

Our cabinets were fitted without a hitch, our new fridge, range and dishwashers hooked up without a problem and my wife now has her dream kitchen.

We still have a couple of tasks for Rene to do before we think that we have done enough. We know that we will be just as pleased with the results and can heartily recommend him to you.

I used rene rozon construction for major renovations on my house this summer ( kitchen, front entrance, front hallway, floors , powder room, family room and fence), they did an excellent job most improtantly i didn't experience any of the renovation horror stories i heard were guarantee to happen they never happened - they were ontime they showed up when they said they would and they finished when they said even though i kept adding things the work was fantastic and the price was fair and most of all they were honest and a pleasure to work with - i was expecting the worst and i got the best
