Renovation Contractor in Oshawa, ON

Kelly is awesome, if he does all your work, but Mark wasted my time, showed up late or not at all then blames me, and he dents my newly installed marble sink, hopes I won't notice and I cannot het a hold of anyone since. Lou stoll from thier company, screwed up so often that Kelly had to come back and fix it. Kent lied to me about a few things, I cannot get a hold of ANYONE, so know I am glad I held back my 10% -- they are not getting it. Kelly you rock, but Marl and Kent, ugh. By the way the rpoject started in JUNE and is still not done!!

We hired this company to do some renovations, what was promised to take 5 weeks for drywall and wiring, took 16, hardwood flooring took 3 more weeks and less than 3 months after installation the new hardwood floor has buckled and produced a 2 ft wide hump from living room to dining room, other areas of the flooring is cupped. Ceiling seams are cracking, doors won’t open/close, the list goes on. Their claim to covering 100% warranty on their workmanship is a sham. They initially acted like they were interested in helping, which later proved to only serve to buy them time. Now the company (we are told by Peter Schmahl, owner) is in receivership. We are having to hire another company to do the repairs. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

My wife and I hired the Ontario Trades Group to renovate our home. They promised it would take five weeks. After 18 weeks, there is still considerable work to be done. They have stopped showing up to do any of the work and will not answer or return calls. Because of problems with the work they have done and the fact that they refuse to finish the project, we have been forced to hire other contractors and start a lawsuit to try to get back some of the money we have paid for work they will not show up to do. Hire this group at your own risk.
