From my initial phone call to the final post-project follow-up, I have been delighted by all elements of my experience with Rhino. I recently engaged Rhino (Dan Timothy) to remove the collapsing 80-year old plaster from my living room ceiling and replace it with a new drywall ceiling. The final product is lovely, including a very elegant transition between the new ceiling and the original plaster walls, and paint mixed especially to match. Communication was always timely, courteous, cheerful and informative (very informative!). Estimate was competitive (and accurate), Dan Timothy presented a contract for the project (great comfort for anyone who has ever been burned by "gentlemen's agreement") and delivered as and when promised. Great care was taken to minimize the disruption to the rest of my living space while the project was underway, and I felt comfortable that my home was being treated respectfully. Over the course of the project, Dan made several suggestions for ways to improve the finished product - all of which I felt perfectly comfortable to accept or reject (no high-pressure sales tactics here!). I am grateful that he thought to suggest adding pot-lights. The icing on the cake was Dan's willingness to share expertise (and tools!) above-and-beyond the requirements of the contracted project. With helpful coaching, I finally got that down-spout taken care of! Rhino has my unreserved endorsement. I will definitely call Dan for my next ('cause there's always another one!) project.

 

I was delighted with the job that was done for me by Rhino Home Improvment. Dan Timothy was an easy person to comunicate with and had no issue meeting all my needs. Rhino Home Improvement constructed an entrance from our garage to our basement. We couldn't be more satisfied with the work done by Dan. He took care of getting the engineer and city permits and installed the entrance professionally and according to all applicable building codes. We now have a great new entrance and a permit signed off by the city inspector. The job was done quickly and we were kept well informed of his progress. Dan takes the trouble to do things right and was very flexible in delivering just what we wanted. And Dan definitely goes the extra mile. I would happily recommend him to anyone for any kind of renovation.

 

Rhino did the following for me: new roof, drywall ceiling repair, plumbing including bathroom shower, sink and kitchen sink installation. His work was always clean, properly and professionally done and completed in a timely manner. Any agreed upon criteria, either by contract or verbally, was always met. This contractor is trustworthy and knows his work very well. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. His rates are reasonable and he's worth every penny. Book him now! He's busy because he's good!
