Need contractor / handyman for home improvement job

Hi, I am looking at fixing up some of the problems with my single storey house in Richmond BC area.
1. Turning a open nook area 10 x 6 into a enclosed dent/study room. Shouldn't be too hard, just need a plaster wall and a sliding closet door.
2. Replacing a cracked beam and polycab roof of the small patio. If possible, turning this into a sunroom.
3. Install ducts from bathroom exhaust fan to discharge out of the attic.
4. Some minor job such as installing chimmy cap, patch up some holes and minor plumbing work.
Do you think I need a handyman for the above or do I require contractor to do such small job?
Any advice will be appreciated.
