Hi Aaron First of all, there are grout cleaners out there. I'm not sure what you are using to clean it, but any flooring store should have a good grout cleaner. Depending on the colour grout required, the flooring store should be able to sell you a little bag of grout for repair purposes- you don't want the whole tub or bag, just enough to repair. Mix the grout well- about the consistency of toothpaste- and smooth it into the joints. Let sit for 10 minutes, clean with damp cloth, polish. If there is silicone in the corners- there should be-remove any thats loose with a razor knife or like- make sure its good&clean, and re-caulk. Don't overdo the caulking- just enough to fill, then lick your finger and smooth it into the corner-wipe up any excess. After 24 hrs the grout&caulking should be cured and you're good to go. Hope this helps a little- good luck. |

Sounds like a grout sealer- not a bad idea, especially in a shower. Once you get your tiles all clean & shining, 1 thing I find that works great is a product called 'Tilex'. Just spray it on the still wet walls after the last shower of the day- it keeps the tile/taps /grout clean. You still have to scrub the shower walls, though not nearly as often. |

Be concerned you have gotten water in behind the wall. If this job was not done right in the first place it can cost a lot of money to fix it. I would advise you that you should remove all tiles and check to see if the moisture has gotten into the dry wall! |
