how do you know if the foundation is causing problems with floor rising and having gaps in upstairs bedroom

That is a tricky question . It could be the foundation but it could be many other problems. That is something you want a professional to look at! I have done many foundation repairs and on all of them its the labour that is 90% of the job .Most customers could save alot of money if they just work with the contractor .
