Project Description: We will be moving into a 3 year old home in Okotoks at the end of January. I have 3 projects for an electrician. We have purchased a hottub and need the electrical hooked up. We need to install a breaker (the electrical panel has room and we can purchase the breaker at cost from the hot tub vender) trench, run wire and conduit and hook up to the hottub. I would also like to have an additional wire in the same trench if possible to run to the end of the cement pad near the hot tub for 2 electrical outlets that will be installed into an outdoor kitchen. Lastly I would like to have a light and switch run in the attic, where I will be setting up a storage area above the garage. I would like to do this work February 7 or 8th. if the trenching etc. can be done. I am open to doing individual portions of the work myself with some direction or supervision if it makes fiscal sense and someone is willing to do this or depending on the quotes. This might include - renting a trencher and trenching it myself, running wire and conduit in the trench (leaving the hook up to the professionals) running wire and drilling holes etc for the wiring to the attic. I would expect that the electrician could purchase materials cheaper than I could and would need to have a look prior to the date the actual work would take place. Again I could do some prep work to save time and money if it makes sense. It is important to me to have someone who has some experience with hottubs as I most definately what this done right to avoid tripping breaker issues etc, I look forward to your responses and quotes.
