Project Description: We are looking to renew and update our 2-storey 1960s home. The main areas that we'd like to change are:
Kitchen: 12x8'and 14x13' connected dining room
New cabinets, counters, and new floors. There is currently a wall that divides the kitchen from the living room. We'd like to remove this wall and add an island in its place.

Living room: 25x19'
As above, remove a dividing wall and replace with an island.
Possibly refinish hardwood floors.
Entrance:
At the entrance of the home is a metal spiral staircase with carpet on the steps and metal railing. We'd like to replace this with wooden stairs and railings.
Windows:
The house currently has 5 single-pane wood-frame windows that we'd like to change to double-pane.
There are also 3 small non-opening windows that we'd like to combine into one large window.
One set of patio doors is single-paned and need to be replaced with double-pane.
Bathrooms:
Main full bathroom needs new tile, tub, and vanity.
One half-bath ensuite needs new vanity, sink, toilet, and flooring.
Exterior:
Outdoor covered deck needs new covering and railing.
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you need any clarification or additional details. In your response, please include an estimated timeline of how long this project might require. |

Project Description: I need a kitchenette in an already insulated & dry walled small basement space. The bathroom needs a tub. The uninsulated storage space needs to be insulated, dry walled & laminate installed on flooring to convert it into 2 small bedrooms. $1,000 sq. ft. of sound barrier insulation on the ceiling of the entire basement is also needed. I am looking for an honest contractor with reasonable quotation. |

Project Description: We have a 16x 32 inground sand base pool with a vinyl linner. It have been replaced and needs to be redone. The track should have been replaced last time as I think this is the main problem. The liner is not leaking and would consider placing a new liner over the old if that is something better to do. If there are any other suggested products out there (fiberglass / cement, then please advise. Thank you. |

Project Description: my current rangehood is those recirculated one, I want to change it to a ducted one but I need to add a new venting from the kitchen to outside of my house, how ?
my stove is in the middle of my kitchen, not by the window. so if I have to add a rangehood venting, I have to go up and find a way out. if the vent is coming out from the roof, I have to double check and see if it will void the roof warranty. kind of tricky. no wonder the previous owner left it for the past 25 years but now we have to deal with it properly. |

" Your site has by far the best layout, and is the best source
of leads that we have. Since we listed with Handy Canadian
(December 2005), we've signed contracts on over $400,000 worth
of work - that's a pretty good return on our advertising dollars,
and is unsurpassed by any other advertising that we've done
so far. In fact, as we've built such a network of referrals
from the business we've received via your site, we no longer
advertise anywhere else! "
- Bryan, Baeumler Quality Construction and Renovations
Inc.
" As a Premium member I received my
first lead notification e-mail for a bathroom renovation.
I immediately decided to get in touch with the prospect. To
my surprise he was eager to meet with me and an appointment
was made for myself and my partner to visit his home and quote
on the job. I was pleasantly surprised to find the seriousness
and quality of this prospect was top-notch! Shortly after
visiting the lead from HandyCanadian .... WE WERE AWARDED
THE JOB! We were astonished at how easy it was...this first
job has already paid for the membership! "
- Michael Klisouris, Second To None Renovations
