Bathroom (first project)
approx. 55 sq ft/ 5.2 sq meter bathroom
possibly heated floors, new sink, bathtub with tiled walls, toilet. possibly build vanity, tiles (slate on floor if possible and subway tiles on the wall)
Start of project: Beginning of July
Kitchen (second project once bathroom is done)
new tiles on the floor and walls, new cabinets (would be interested to find somebody to custom build, but would also consider modular kitchen).
looking to see finished projects (pictures) from the contractor/ kitchen builder and then estimate for custom build kitchen (style desired contemporary in dark wood or/and white with build in desk in kitchen). have access to the house from July 1st in order to measure for estimate.
The house a 60 years old duplex in good condition. we will have some electric work and painting done in the first week of july.
in the kitchen you will find exposed brick and a few nooks and pipes that need to be addressed in the kitchen design.

Project Description:
Currently have a ranch style bungalow with single car garage, house is aprox 25yrs old. We have enough land to work with and pretty level ground. Outside material will be siding and rock. Removal of some brick on the house. Want to expand the garage into a 2 car garage and have an apmt upstairs, apmt will have a full bath and click flooring and cushion floor in bathroom. Behind garage, want a master bedroom with full bath, hardwood floors and tiles. Current kitchen will be transfered to apmt so we can add new kitchen. Want to remove a staircase that goes downstairs from the dining room and put it in the garage. The roof of the house will need to be demolished so it can match the peak of the garage. Some walls in the house need to be moved to devide 2 bedrooms evenly, and 1 wall in the kitchen needs to be moved. This is mostly the "big" picture and I'm looking at an estimate on such a job. Main bath also needs to be renovated with a new vanity and shower, flooring etc. |
