Residential Building Permit Information

City of Calgary
The Building Regulations Division is the group responsible for examining plans, issuing permits and performing inspections for new construction and for renovations in the city of Calgary.

City of Edmonton
Permit and licence approvals are made based on legislation from the Municipal Government Act, Municipal Bylaws, the Edmonton Zoning Bylaw and the Alberta Building Code.

City of Fredericton
The Building Inspection and By-Law Enforcement Division is responsible for the processing of building permit applications, plans review, and general By-Law enforcement.
